Gah. This just triggered a new goal for me. Instead of using the bathroom close to my office, I'm going to walk down the hall to the other one thats about 150m away versus 5ft away lol!

Agreed with the class element, I go to a gym that if you cancel your spot with less than 12 hours notice (emergencies aside - of course), you're charged. That's a big motivator for me. Also, have all of your things ready to go. Be honest with your friend. Be tough on each other. There will be days you don't want to go and…

Very inspirational, awesome job! So sorry to hear about your mom, I lost mine two years ago and I know how difficult it can be. I am certain she would be proud of you getting healthier. Congrats and great luck on the new lifestyle.

Kind of a weird NSV but this morning I was running really late for work and didn't pack a breakfast so I swung by the Golden Arches and made HEALTHY choices (No cheese, no butter) and a coke zero. Logged it in my diary, and IT FITS MY CALORIES! (Pre gym sesh). It was kind of an "ah-ha" moment realizing you can have your…

I can't do it everyday, I used to and developed a really unhealthy relationship with food/weight. I'd cry every time I stepped on it. Now, I do it in the morning on Wednesdays - post poop!

Ah fair enough, I haven't been exposed to this before. Interesting concept. I was repling based on my experience with freshfitfoods.ca/

I've never had the issue but could you try watering it down gradually?

I bought the book New Rules of Lifting For Women - Lift Like a Man, Look Like a Goddess. I really enjoyed it. It starts out reasonably simple and gets progressively more challenging. I highly recommend it for a 're-begginer'. Also, see if LA Fitness has any free PT sessions, I think most places do? As for form and such,…

Hum, I don't know that I've ever measured my water. My pee tells me I'm doing okay though. I guess my water cup at work is 24oz and I fill it 4 ish times a day plus what I get from a coffee or tea or food. I like water :)

I explored the idea for about 30 minutes, went to sign up, saw the final price, bailed. It's nothing more than meal prep done for you so - unless you think you'll pay for this for the rest of - ever, I'd take a class in meal prep or healthy cooking and do it yourself. If it's in your budget, can I borrow $100? Jk, but if…

It absolutely happens to me too. Depending on how funk'ed or funky it is, I'll force myself to go to a fitness class (yoga is a favourite), have a bubble bath and a tea or glass of wine and try again the next day. Reach out to friends you know you'll have a good time with and try and forget for a little while.

Yeah, if it's sweetness you're looking for, there are a lot of alternatives to sugar. Likewise with the soda, reach for the diet or zero version.

You guys are all a wealth of knowledge. Thank you. Most of it is seeming to clear up a bit (prescription cream and diet) but some stubborn spots linger. Time will tell and hopefully get better. Thanks again.

I choose not to eat it because it becomes butt tea. Is that acceptable??

But you locked her in. So.....

Do your best to get to the recommended calories.

Yeah, what's the difference in what youre supposed to hit. If it's minimal and you're not hungry, no worried. If it's bigger, fill up. The diary auto saves and moves to the next day if that is what you're worried about. The goal calories will be the same as today - they don't add in the missed ones today if thats what…

Lol. Yep. My friend and I who go together keep saying we should just do this at the gym together but we have been known to detour from the gym to a liquor store or poutine place. Whoops.

Wait - what?
