That is so freaking horrible. I've been on a few blind dates where I was extremely disappointed, but the girl never knew because we had a great time. I always took the pressure off though, so all that was expected was a good meal, good conversation, and maybe a nightcap. I'm so sorry you had to deal with idiots.

I wouldn't get anything lower than a polar FT4. Avoid anything Sportsline at ALL costs. I spent way too much money for something so basic and difficult to use. http://www.amazon.com/Polar-FT4M-Silver-Black/dp/B003Z6GHG2/ref=sr_1_sc_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1327608174&sr=8-3-spell

You have dodged several bullets with this guy, don't keep standing in front of the gun! Good luck!

Two words: The Boys Seriously the best comic series I have come across in years!

Make sure your age, height, and weight are properly configured into the device. As you lose weight, you will have to make those adjustments in order to get proper readings. You probably have done all of these things, but it doesn't hurt to give it one more look see :) Good luck!

Mine is definitely open. I have some people that have given me some really good advice, especially when I was plateauing. I want my friends to be able to see it and get some healthy suggestions as well. I look at all of my friends diaries and have come away all the smarter about my food choices because of it.

I agree with some of the other guys. Trimming a few spots down is completely acceptable, but going bald anywhere below the neckline (with the exception to the twins) and I'm thinking it's about time to turn in some man cards to the local chapter. It's all personal preference and what works for the individual and their…

It's a load of rubbish. Don't put anything into your body besides healthy food and exercise. Trying to cheat nature only leads to frustration and sometimes permanent damage from artificial things trying to change the natural tendencies of our bodies. Good luck :)

Way to go! I haven't lost any weight in over 2 months and I have run religiously at least 4 times a week. In my profile, you can see me running my first 5k and there is another picture of me as you see now. I weigh nearly the exact same weight and haven't lost a single pound since last November. I'll take these smaller…

Wholeheartedly agree. I have definitely been missing in action as it relates to facebook :)

If you search for skiing, under cardio exercises, you will see many different options that should cover the activity you are planning to engage in. Good luck :)

A journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step! Take each day as it comes and success will be yours! Good luck :)

I think a little note is fine. I would respond equally to either. I think that conversation would be best though in case they are not able to respond right away, but a cool enough guy would get back with you on it within a reasonable amount of time :) Good luck and remember that no matter what happens you're still BAWSS!!

10. Personally, there isn't a number high enough. That number is not based on fitness or how I look, but who I am. Period. Real men do what they want to, Fake men do what they can.

I saw one about a year ago. She left with more information than she provided. I told her about MFP and some of my theories on weight loss and nutrition. She just basically co-signed what I said and seemed genuinely surprised that there were things like apps that track your exercise for your phone and other apps similar to…

I think you're fine as long as your're moving. Just don't overestimate your calorie burn and you're good to go. Good luck :)

Silk Almond milk and ground flaxseed... you won't be disappointed :)

Coolrunning.com's C25K program. It's how I got started. I finished up back last September and haven't looked back since!

Almonds, peanuts, or cashews. Plenty of protein, all the good fats, and are calorie dense for days when you just can't seem to meet your targets!

Mine is the gentleman in the picture to the immediate left of this post. Judging by this man's progress, he is definitely going places. Wanting to be anything or anyone else is unfathomable for him at this time. This keeps his expectations in check and allows him to work as hard as he can to be the best himself that he can…

Do the couch to 5k program for sure. It starts out slowly. As others have said, it builds you up to be able to run for at least 30 minutes straight. The time is there, you just have to want it. I get up at 4am almost every morning to run (currently nursing a pulled achilles tendon), so if you want it bad enough you'll…

I just need to be shirtless. That is seriously motivation enough. I've come a long way, but there is so much more to go. I'm not dieting, but making a sustainable lifestyle change. We'll see you, naked or not, at the finish line!

I agree!!!
