Definitely fabric! The steel apparatuses tore up my hands and I felt very unsteady on them. I feel more secure with the wraps of the fabric.

Strength training really bores me but I'm hoping if I keep switching it up I'll like it more. I also HATE knee to chest jumps. Mainly because they are really hard for me and I suck at them. Power yoga is by far my favorite. Second would be running or any cardio really.

I think it was because when I was lifting I was doing the same exercises/machines every time and I just got bored. It was cool when I could up the weights though, but often times I would skip out early cause I'd be bored. I lifted heavy and aimed for 8-10 reps. Maybe I just need to switch it up, or maybe I just like cardio…

You'll get there, just stick with it. I was running 5 days a week and got up to 8 miles (the longest ive ever gone wiout stopping!) and then stopped for two months and now I can barely run a 5K. It's amazing how fast your cardiovascular health can deplete.

If its cardio I don't eat before, but I feel really weak if I try to do any kind of strength training without some kind of fuel.

How is it inferior? Wouldn't it be easier to lose most excess fat and then focus more on weight training? Am I confused about what cutting/bulking is? Cutting is more cardio, higher calorie deficit diet and bulking would be higher calorie, higher protein diet with less cardio and more lifting? Right? Now I'm conflicted. If…

A nutritionist is a good idea. I think I'm a starchy carb junkie and thats easily my downfall when trying to lose weight. I'm going by percentages now, I think 40/30/30.

Thanks guys. I think I'll add in 2-3 days of heavy lifting to help preserve my muscle and then after I lose a bit more fat will add more lifting days and focus more on that. Now I just need to do it. Weights bore me to death, but I'll admit it's SO rewarding.
