  • Hi, I was wondering if you solved this in the end? I'm currently not working so put myself as sedantry also as it depends on the day really. I did some calisthenics and swimming today but not so much walking but accupedo subtracted 203 calories and basically undid all of my other exercises by doing that :/ I don't really…

  • As i don't know your regime, I'm going to go ahead and assume that maybe you're pushing it too hard? If you used to exercise a fair bit and you're getting back into it, you're probably going at it too much. I mean I'm sure your mind is ready for it, and thinks your body is, but your body is telling you otherwise! Try to…
  • I've been doing it and logged it as Calisthenics :)
  • I'm 24 I THINK mine is open?
  • 24 and also in the UK :)
  • If you reach a stagnant point then it's actually best to up your calories for a bit and perhaps eat the 1200 for a day, and a bit over the next day for a bit. Just like with exercise your body gets bored of repetition and just needs a slight change sometimes to put it back on track. The yo-yo effect gets your body…
  • Simple. Most people on here (like myself) are doing the lose 1lb a week option (others go for more which isn't good for you), and thus to do that you have to eat you MINIMUM BASIC METABOLIC RATE. aka minimum BMR. So basically that's usually around 1200 for most people it seems. Let's say you ate 1200 calories, and you lost…
  • Some of these guys have given you some amazing advice. Especially the councelling idea as well as the relationship with food for being what it is - fuel! Personally i try to think about the calories to start, get a hold of that, and gradually get healthier food into my diet more and more. Cookies every 8 days is not…
  • 1. Ryan Reynolds 2. Gerard Butler 3. Robert Downey Jr
  • To be fair, large, small, brunette, blonde, redhead, minority etc we all get crap like that! I've been told my wrists are too small by many people, but it's just genetics. My wrists have been 13cm whether i'm 12 stone (then) or (now) 9 and a half! No amount of exercising helps my wrists or forearms, yet i get abuse about…
  • I know i'm not a man but... Charlize Theron Ever since i saw Devil's Advocate and she's been super hot in everything since and had a horrible family trauma when young and concurred it, is smart and just the most beautiful woman!
  • I'd say do it! I'm wearing a size UK 10 jeans at the moment, was always 12 to 14 depending on my yo-yo skills. Now i'm more like a 10-12 so am buying 10's that are a bit snug to remind me what to work on (have the top button undone while sitting typing though haha). I WILL fit these and it's definitely the way forward for…
  • I know what you mean about thinspiration - come on guys you can't deny you're THINNING down a few sizes, NOT gaining extra erm, unwanted curves and bumps. I don't really have a thinspiration/absperation/legsperation/etc i just kind of want myself to be a bit more muscly actually. I'm small breasted so i'll never be…
  • I concur! Pancake or crepe?
  • Absolutely awesome! More than halfway there!!! You're doing soooooo well :D
  • You will find that the lighter you get the less calories you can consume and it'll become very difficult on the last few pounds. With regards to your weight watchers plans etc - you can find the calorie content on the packet or on MFP, so you need to log and use both, otherwise you're not getting the full extent of your…
  • I'm from Kent, feel free to add! :)
  • God i feel so embarrassed writing this but... Yes actually, sometimes when i'm going to die cycling up my hill and just exert to the death of me (on a fix gear bike btw) it can sometimes have a er, good feeling lol. I've not had a full on one, but i am now reassured it's not so unordinary. Get a fix wheeled bike everyone!…
  • I have a very small frame (wrists are 13cm!!!) and started at around 11 stone (155-8 i think) and would like to go down to just below 9st (126lbs) and maintain at around there - AND/OR i'd like to have more muscle and thus being 9 1/2(133) stone would be fine if it was muscle weight :) I'm at 9st 5 or 6lbs (131lbs-132lbs)…
  • This kind of thing drives me mad!!! Both women have good BMI, BF% and have good figures. They are just different. Personally i like both figures! I have a small bust and am small built. Unfortunately i will never be 'curvy' looking - why does everyone hate on the 'non-curvy' :( Work with what you have, some will love it,…
  • She looks great on and off season! The other point is that they try to tense as much as they can to show off their definition in these types of pictures - can tell by her stance for example. If i was as lean as her i'd need a boob job for sure haha. She looks brilliant! <3
  • Lemon, lime or orange real and/or flavouring i.e. in cake/chocolate. But i like the real thing on its own or in/as drinks :)
  • I have nothing more to add as everyone's advice is spot on! I did have to quote this as this picture is so true! <3
  • Did you enter all your data correctly? I'm not sure MFP has an age below 18 as BMR can be quite tempermental to predict below that age as our metabolism is a lot higher when younger. Due to this, i'm sure your BMR is a lot higher than most people on here, but if you're already quite thin, your BMR will likely be quite low.…
  • I only weigh in at my boyfriends and he's working 15 hour shifts this week, did that last week and possibly next week so i may have to join ya on this ;) I don't usually weigh in too often anyways, maybe fortnightly or if i'm feeling particularly slim/bloated to see if i'm going wrong. It's all about the inches for me :D
  • I'm a range between UK size 10-12 and sometimes 14, depending on the shop (anyone know the best way to find true size?) and i'd like to comfortably be in the 10 range :) I'd much rather weigh more in muscle etc and be in this range then be skinny 10 if that makes sense?
  • Excellent! I'm starting the shred and would like to order 2 more of her dvd's, but am wondering what everyone's top 3 of hers are? That way i'd like to fit in a bit more than the shred and jogging, but don't want to get the wrong ones (had that problem with davina, some dvd's good, others not). Could everyone tell me their…
  • In my world positive reinforcement is much more beneficial than negative. Negativity just makes me want to give up, while the positivity helps me see things clearer :)
  • I've made a deal with my boyfriend that if we gain weight so much that we're starting to lose the attraction we'll simply start being more active together and cook healthier things for each other. Say if i was inactive and always bought and cooked bad foods, then he'd help by saying we should go for walks and swim together…
  • Ditto i'd like to join but is it too late? Eep!
