Getting Sick the Next Day after my Rest day??? *all the time

Good Evening Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows what this might be, i have been to my doctors. and all they say is its a bug going around (in fact there are bugs everyday going around) but anyways

a few years ago, i was going to the gym every day and doing Muay Thai every weekend..... for about 2 years..... no issue no problems eat what i like etc...

and now as of today.... no matter what i do .... I'm always Ill as in sore tummy wanna puke number 2's and i have no idea what the problem is, as the doctors said its a bug going around, but this only happens when i go to the gym i feel great , take my rest feel great day then the next day i feel ill...... as it is atm i can't even do a solid straight week at the gym without feeling like this its annoying,

has anyone had something like this before??? or is this random? can anyone help me, i really enjoy the gym and don't want to give it up if its like this all the time, must be something i'm doing wrong

    As i don't know your regime, I'm going to go ahead and assume that maybe you're pushing it too hard? If you used to exercise a fair bit and you're getting back into it, you're probably going at it too much. I mean I'm sure your mind is ready for it, and thinks your body is, but your body is telling you otherwise!
    Try to half your efforts next week, then see if it makes a difference?
    Your body will adapt eventually, but as I say without knowing anything more that's all I can assume.
    The only things that make me feel sick randomly like that are times when i push myself/stress too hard (even mentally or emotionally not just physically), i get sick once i manage to fit a rest day in.
    Otherwise taking my vitamins without food or bad coffee gives me those feelings haha.
