Post surgery and still not even walking. I'm just paranoid, and the weather at exercise time has been cold, dark or both. Still a bit tender so I'm going to err on the side of "baconslave, you are getting old, don't push it too soon." SW: 217.8 (YIKES :# ) CW: 215.1 Oct GW: 213.8

That pellet grill looks like it was definitely an excellent culinary investment :+1: I'm back guys. What a ride this year has been... Getting up and dusting myself off.

October came early for us here in upper northeastern TN. The hurricane smashed us. Rivers flooded. Trees went down all over the place, many with roots in the air as we'd had several straight days of rain before it hit. We lost our beloved RV and my 2020 Explorer is crunched up like a soda can. 2 fences need mended soon so…
-
Sorry, guys. Got walloped by Helene. 10 trees down, son's vehicle damaged, RV and my car destroyed, 2 fences down. But healthy family. My town however got majorly flooded. Finally have power, internet, and cell back. Still waiting on water. Working on the October challenge right now.

well had a better weekend than some, but not the best. Working on it. Logging this morning and planning my workout.

Oh Lordy I'm here. Finally. Camping, appointments, errands. My goal this month is to lose something. And to resume my strength goals. More concrete weight goal next month but right now I need to focus on corralling my inner punk who has been out of control. Re-cement habits that serve me in place of habits that do not. I…

Great goal. This maintenance one is tricky but you'll find your balance. :+1: I maintained my loss for years. Until I lost my mojo. Lots of curve balls for me. May the pitcher of Life leave you alone at least. 🤞

It's definitely quite cooler today here too, and we are also dreary this morning. Though we are basically in a drought, and so I welcome the rain as the grass and leaves were getting crunchy, and I live up against the forest. :grimace: We've gone a good spell without wildfires here, and I'd like to keep that streak.…

Back from vacay. And as the only active mod round here, I didn't delete it. Either it was site admins or the original poster requested they delete it. Or MFP just got hungry. That is super weird.

Did it and yardhiked again yesterday. I need to get in a leg day today and some arms since there'll be no time for formal exercise Friday as I'll be loading and then setting up the camper. I'll probably get 10k steps without trying. Food on plan. Psyching myself up to make better choices this weekend.
-
I am here and doing well...of course because it is a weekday  Got in a long yardhike yesterday for over an hour. Today is strength for arms and probably a short walk after.
-
So. Monday and Tuesday are in the books. Tracked, hit my goals, and workout out both days. A long yardhike Monday, and a full body strength workout with 30 mins of one of the peppier Leslie Sansone "walk" videos after. Today, I'll be working out in a little bit, but will need to take care with portion control as my Eldest…

Sorry to hear about the injury but hopefully it will continue to heal quickly. Nice job on the weight loss over a trip!
-
Hey there! That is a sweet ride!
-
Wow, that's dedication. Nice drop on the BP and the scale. Glad to hear you've seen other positive changes too.
-
well, my weekend wasn't all I'd hoped it would be, but it was improved. Better is better. On track for my carb, calories, and exercise goals for today so far :+1: It's still pretty toasty outside right now, so after dinner I'll go outside and hoof it.
-
HEYYYYYYY! It's the first. I'll jump in. I am going to be focusing on daily logging and weighing, keeping my carb and calorie goals, not letting fatigue and everyone else's interference keep me from working out at least 5 days a week, and reigning in those weekends. This med I am on makes me want to always be either…

Coming from someone who also experiences this kind of back nonsense from time to fime since forever, def smart to just let it rest until there's not even an inkling of complaint. Seems like a lot of time standing still, but it really personally saves me time by not re-aggravating and then halting constantly. Isn't it…

I'm still doing the things. Weight still being stupid. DOMS finally going down though. Which is great cuz I'm going to be busting my tail in the workout scheduled for today.
-
Yeah I did the same. I only have 1hr20-1hr30 to work out, and I like to get some cardio in after. Hope you are healed up soon. I bet that is ANNOYING. Personally, I loathe outside situations impacting/distracting my ability to get a good workout in.
-
Doing great. Aside from being still sore as all hades from leg day. My body is just mean. I think it's the Sjogren's. Outsized DOMS when I have been doing strength training for almost 10 years now. :disappointed: Scale is still dumb. I know I have inflammation from sore muscles. The rest is just my body being a punk. Some…

welcome welcome. I approved your request to the Carnivore group. Being 100% "over" meat for a brief period of time is entirely normal. Usually that accompanies ketone levels rising. You may have more periods of that once you get fat adapted but it will pass. It's really great when you reach the point where food no…
