Whoo-hoo! Awesome job.

So sorry your brother-in-law said such a mean thing to you. He is an IDIOT! You look great. You lost 97 lbs! That really had to be hard work. Be proud of yourself and hold your head high. Don't let that negative comment bring you down. You have every reason to be proud of your accomplishments.

I am looking forward to wearing the clothes that are in my closet! I took out a skort that I had in my closet that still had the tags on it. I have never been able to wear it and now I can! Whoo-hoo - what an awesome feeling!

JUST have to say - I love your profile picture. And I understand your thoughts on exercise.

1 lb. lean gr. beef or 1 lb. ground turkey 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 c. Tomato Sauce 1/2 c. chopped peppers 9 Tbs. Bread Crumbs 350 for 1 - 1 and 1/2 hours This is a weight watchers recipe. 4 servings @ 6 points each. The 6 points is if you use lean ground beef. It would be slightly less with the ground turkey.

Yea! Very excited for you. Keep up the good work.

Yippee! Good for you.

Try to eat foods with more fiber in them. The fiber will help you feel fuller longer. Check your food lables for the fiber contents.

Yes, I do think that buying a food scale is definitely worth it. I also belong to Weight Watchers and I think it makes a difference in staying within your calorie (or points) limit. There have been times when I have used too much food and others where I under-estimated the amount. If you go over a little bit each time,…

Great Job! Seeing your post and pictures is just a reminder that the weight needs to come off slow for success.

Count me in! I'm always up to a challenge and I don't like to fail when I publicly accept a challenge! :)

Hi Cynthia - First of all, I want to tell you how sorry I am about the loss of your daughter. I can't imagine that pain. Second, - Way to Go on your Master's! I am a teacher and also have my Master's, so I know how challenging that is to complete when you have a family - and 4 girls! Wow! I also know that being a trucker's…

I would like to start this challenge as well. I like this DVD because it is only a 20 minute workout, which I can fit into my day easier. A challenge is what I need to keep going.

Just wanted to thank you for posting the Jillian Michaels link about plateaus. :)

Honestly, I don't think any of that stuff works. Whether we like it or not, I think it takes diet and exercise to succeed. I've always believed that if it sounds too good to be true, then it is!

Hi. Everyone gets off track. As long as you can get back on, forget the day before. Are you exercising? If you are, and you should be, you can actually consume more than the 1200. Depending on how much you exercise determines how many more calories you can consume. Fill in the exercise section and it will tell you how many…

Great Job! You should be very proud of yourself. That's not an easy accomplishment. Keep up the good work.

It is hard to be patient, especially in the beginning. It's been 2 weeks for me and I have only lost 2 lbs. I KNOW a loss is a loss and I keep telling myself that. I think I may be doing the same thing you are and not getting enough calories in after I exercise. Ugh!
-
Don't give up! Results will kick in for you. Just keep telling yourself that.

Hi. My name is Peggy. I started myfitnesspal about 10 days ago and I LOVE IT! I have never been able to count calories, so I think this is an awesome site. I have been faithful in using it and sticking to my calorie intake. I started using the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD. It has 3 different levels on it. I'm still on…
