:flowerforyou: I know EXACTLY how you feel! I even have a person that loves to say "go eat a cracker or something"! But, what people don't understand is that when you gain a few pounds, you basically lose your wardrobe and that's DEPRESSING! And, even though your weight is fine, YOU are fully aware of where "new pounds"…

 Now THAT was funny!

Be strong....you CAN do this! :drinker:

Hi! The weight loss you've had is wonderful! Although you really want to see your scale at 130, you are at a very healthy weight for your height. This doesn't mean that you won't be able to lose the weight you want to, but it will take longer than people with a lot of weight to lose. Continue to do what you're doing....the…

 TRUE STORY~I DID go to the gym last night with "I like big butts" playing inside my head. When I opened the door to my gym, their stereo was blasting "fat bottomed girls"......I had to laugh! But, I did stay on the treadmill a little longer and did a few more lunges!

It just sucks when it goes up a little for no reason..LOGICALLY we know that it's water weight but it still puts a damper on the day!
-
So your scale talks to you TOO!!!!! I'm glad to hear I'm not alone!

I have found, since Banks posted the "no weigh" challenge, that "quitting the scale" is more difficult than quitting smoking (I've not smoked since Feb. 20th and haven't cheated once!)! I also made the decision to not drink alcohol for at least a month, since having a discussion with some of you this weekend! BUT, do you…

 LOVE the gym (have been addicted for a little over 10 years now)....kind of wish I had gotten into it in my late teens/early twenties!
-
Congrats on the numbers (and your flat stomach  ).....your plan looks great!!!

 I swear, that's the 2nd post in a row where I talked wrong!!! I meant "professional black and white picture"!
-
Actually, the perfect song as I head out to the gym (that's actually where my "new" 7 pounds landed! By the way.....I LOVE the picture professional black and white of you and your man!!!!

 I just read my post~ meant to say...."make sure that what you pack for lunch sounds better to you than what you can buy fast!"
-
Make sure you what pack for lunch sounds BETTER to you than what you can buy fast!

:flowerforyou: WELCOME!!! :flowerforyou: You CAN do this!

This should actually be posted once a week to keep us on track!
-
Go Get 'Em (or lose them  ) :flowerforyou: Welcome!!! :flowerforyou:
-
Yep....I know EXACTLY what you're talking about!!! I am an avid gym goer, runner, lunger, lifter, etc., and I hate to be the messenger, but that doesn't really "fluff" back up through exercise. When we start dropping weight, eventually we have to "pay the piper".....my butt "place" didn't see improvement until I gained…

No YOU shut up!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the perfect day to go through drawers & closets.....for donations or to take to consignment shops! When my son was sick, as a little one, I knew there was always something that could be straightened or cleaned (and it will burn a few more calories  )

YOU'RE AWESOME! :drinker:

:flowerforyou: You CAN do this!!!! :flowerforyou:

 Sounds like you had an informative day, and great job on the eating! By the way, I noticed that one of today's meals was yogurt w/ a granola bar......Seeing that you want to finish your Kashi Crunch (which I really kind of like), if you still have more to eat (Kashi) in the days ahead, you might consider replacing…

:flowerforyou: By the way, just turned 40 myself~ NOW GO!
-
Just got back from the gym myself...............GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! If the energized feeling you get from the gym isn't enough for you....think about the "extra" food you'll get to enjoy!!!!!!
-
Did you eat your workout calories? You need to plug in your cardio/weight training so that MFP recalculates your daily calorie needs
-
Definately eat the calories prior~it will help you lose weight, in the long run (it will keep your metabolism in check by consuming all of your allowed calories), it will give your more energy for your workout and it will keep you motivated to actually work out (you know you've eaten the extra calories already!). Try your…

Hi! I, too, have to focus on water drinking. Yes, you really do have to drink 8 cups of real water, instead of relying on the water in fruits. I make sure that there are small bottles of water in my bathroom (for when I'm getting ready), I've got them in my car, etc., and take small sips, when the opportunities arise…

Banks, I just KNEW you'd come through! Well (and I do have a trainer) , with the skin fold test, I have a fat percentage of 19%, my Tanita scale, depending on the time of day, says between 20-21%...so I know I'm OK. Weight issues (and perpetual diets) have been a part of my life since I was 9 and I think I'm just coming to…
