Okay...I forgot to quote the other post and I don't know how to go back and do it...I also think the word "jog" is funny. Someone once told me that if it offends you when someone calls you a "jogger", you are a "runner". If the word "jog" bothers you, you don't "jog", you "run". That's off topic of the original post, but I…

I'm in the same boat, although I have not been behaving these past couple of weeks. I am also open to suggestions.

It sounds like everyone gave you the advice you need, so I just want to say Good Luck with your 1/2 in Cincy!

Okay, I've been off to a horrible start this week. Today I'm giving it my all. I have eaten pretty well, so far. The true test will be when I have the after-work munchies. I will stay strong!!! I'm also about half-way through my water already, so that's a good thing, too. I was planning on running tonight, but the wind may…

I "liked" it on FB. Don't worry, nothing will post. The only way to do that is through the links on MFP. As far as I can tell, there is no real advantage to liking it on FB at all.

I wish I knew the answer for you. I'm trying to eat more fiber and protein to keep myself full and that seems to help. I gave up chocolate for Lent, so that is helping at this point in time. Stress also has an effect on weight loss. I know it's hard because we are all so busy, but I've been trying to make sure I have some…

Despite the bad, you ran 10 miles! That's something to be proud of, so why not post it!

I'm from Ohio, too, just south of Canton! Welcome to MFP. You can add me if you want.

I've never tried Sweaty Bands, but I like Bondi Bands. They keep my hair out of my face and the sweat out of my eyes! www.bondiband.com

I posted this earlier, not realizing that someone else from work was logged into mfp, so I had to delete it. You CAN feel free to add me instead!

I like Hal Higdon's novice training, too, and have used it several times. I agree, just pick up in the middle of the program. www.halhigdon.com

I googled after reading your post and found a this link to myfitnesspal. I don't know how current it is as I haven't been to Fridays in a long time, but it's worth a try... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/nutrition-facts-calories/tgi-fridays

I rarely run on a treadmill for that same reason. It is a lot better outside, like you said. Are there any running groups in your area or friends that you can try to train with? We have a group of about 6 girls who run together on Saturdays. Even when someone can't make it, you are never alone. Talking or just running (if…

They are not healthy, but I usually get Twizzlers. They are fat-free. Just don't eat the entire package. You need to share them because there are too many servings in the packages they sell at the theater.

I am trying to lose the last 10 pounds, too, and found this site a week ago. I'm also a runner, so I'm looking forward to this group/challenge.

I'm new, too! Feel free to add me to your friends. I think 3 lbs. is great!
