I choose the one that's closest (and green tick-marked) to my daily meals. 28 grams is literally how much I eat - this I have weighed. Will buy a food scale. Thanks.
-
It's true, I am. Maybe I'll try the weighing food thing, hopefully it helps. Thanks.

I tried keto for a few weeks, however it's just not sustainable for me. My works hours are quite erratic, and I couldn't keep up. I did lose weight though - but it came back when I went back to a normal diet.

You might find it if you were more helpful than sarcastic. Thought this was a forum where people helped each other instead of being rude and snarky.
-
Perhaps being a bit kinder might help?

Sigh. This is very possible. However, I rarely eat food that I'm aware is high in calories i.e. cheese, breads, pasta, pizza, desserts etc. I tend to eat lesser, but log in a little higher based on what's already on MFT. It also encourages me to eat a lighter dinner. Weighing food, given my lifetyle might not be a…

I've made my food diary public - if you would like to have a look. :) Maybe I've been doing something wrong?

I've found that my energy levels are up after eating brown rice - are you suggesting I switch to say sorghum/bulghur or red rice? I agree - but I've become so used to it now, that I take them without much thought. I spoke to a nutritionist who said that the body anyway rejects what it doesn't need, so I guess... win-win?…

Hi! I'm trying to lose about 10 kgs. I'm currently at 60, and would like to weight 50. I've been trying to lose it, for about a year or so, now. I went to a nutritionist who told me to eat 1500 cals/day - which I've been more or less sticking to.
-
I'm tracking and weighing - down. to. each. morsel. :/

@suzannesimmons3 Well, I guess I'll make sure it isn't something lethal.

Hi everyone, thank you for your answers. @bpetrosky I was really skeptical about fat burners too, but a lot of my friends - very healthy friends, too - have used fat burners and recommend them quite highly. They're in peak body shape and have been into fitness and bodybuilding for years. They're reliable people and I trust…

So I just saw this thread and thought I'd post my experience as well. I chanced on the Viva Mayr diet while reading a celebrity story online and I thought, hey why not? Looks doable, and some of the things on it make sense. Like every diet, I only follow it 75% of the time, because that's what's usually sustainable. I've…

Haha I know, right? But since I barely eat very fatty food the effects have been alright, so far. None of the 'Continous Bathrooming' I've heard about. There are no long-term side-effects of Alli that you know about are there?

Like I said, 80% of my eating habits are pretty good. I eat healthy and nutritious food, but a couple of times a wekk I end up cheating - but this is largely what is sustainable because it's bound to happen. I sleep atleast 8 hours a day, and although I don't feel stressed, I have no clue if I am or not. I know bodies can…

I've been reading a LOT about hypo, and I'm trying to check if I have any gluten sensitivity as well, but the symptoms for both are largely the same so trying a new diet by cutting some foods out. I got myself checked for Hashimotos and I def don't have it. I'll give the books you've suggested a read and hopefully try and…

I'm eating between 1400 to 1600 calories per day. I eat, generally, pretty healthy food. Mornings are eggs and bananas, afternoons are grilled chicken and vegetables. Dinner, however is erratic - some days I end up eating a heavy dinner, but all before 8pm. Even on days when I cheat, I generally make sure I stay within my…

You could also try Focus T25.. it's a great programme, at least for me, and doesn't involve weights :)

If you have access to a Decathlon like store, you can buy weights online and use them at uni.

Beach Body - Body Beast! It's an amazing workout DVD that will gives you the results you're looking for (it's what I want too). But you will need access to a good set of weights. :)

Hello everyone! Just turned 26 and would really like some friends who can motivate me! I'd do the same too :) Please add!
-
Ok cool will try it. Thanks a lot for your help! :)

Oh yea, I've been failing! These are the maximum weights I've been able to lift until now and I've been adding when I feel I can lift more. I've become used to running on most days, so even if I add a 10 -15 min jog, would that be alright? I've got serious issues with my lower body, since that's where I gain weight first,…
-
Hello! Feel free to add too! 26 with 12 pounds to lose! Need all the motivation from people out there! :)

Oh wow, thanks a ton for all the information. I've revised my calorie intake now and I'm aiming for a more realistic fitness goal. I'm going to continue with Body Beast and add cardio to it on all days. Hopefully this will give me the look I want. I'm not lifting heavy weights either, just regular 3/ 5/ 7/ 10 pounds and I…

I'm really sorry but what does "you should be around 1700 calories (20% deficit) and macro around 40% carbs, 30% protien and 30% fats. " mean? I'm quite new to MFP and I have no idea what that means. According to what I *think* you mean, MFP says 1200 calories divided into 50% carbs, 30% fat and 20% protein and I've been…

According to MFP, my calorie intake should be about 1200, which I've been following. Since I'm new to home workout routines, my basic research told me that Body Beast is a good programme to start if I want toning and muscle definition. My arms feel bigger, but I haven't measured. I will today! My question is, is it ok to…

Just a nudge... please help!
