You are diabetic - the donuts could put you in a diabetic coma....

I watch like a hawk for toys and other shiny stuff that will distract my kids and do everything I can to keep them from seeing it. Also, in the grocery store is probably not the best place to try explaining something to a toddler. No and move on will be much less traumatic on you and everyone around you.

Is anyone else itchy now? Something about talking about the critters sets me off..... When my mom was in the hospital with chemo, I even had to be careful about what immunizations the kids were getting or they wouldn't be able to be around her for weeks. Sometimes it sucks, but there are some things that just have to be…

Little Debbie Cakes it is then. So, when do I get screwed?

There are plenty who are horrible, rotten people. I've never met this woman or you and won't argue one bit about it. I've met some, and it can be hard to believe just how horrible some people can be, and mean to be!

And so is watching a loved one die cold and alone out on the street (probably still coughing up that blood). I know plenty of people who have made decisions that could end up being much more of a health impact than smoking, and I'd still help them in any way I could, because I love them and that is what we do.

It isn't doubting your conviction, though I would add that I find it to be a bit selfish.
-
So, I guess you will be paying out of pocket for all medical expenses, not using insurance, medicaid or medicare, and if it is bad enough that you can no longer work, instead of taking disability, you plan on living on the streets because it was all your fault for smoking? I doubt it.
-
My 2 cents for what it is worth are that sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn't. There are many things that can contribute to and be caused by that certainly are disabilities. I guess maybe it would make some people feel better to only classify those external conditions as the disability. I definitely feel like there is a…

Whole relationship issues discussion aside, with my 3 boys, I don't label foods as 'good' and 'bad'. They know there are foods that are better choices than others and if they make choices through the day that are 'better' choices, they can choose a snack that is on the 'sometimes' list. If their choices aren't as good…

My oldest is the same age and....just is coming out of this phase. My middle boy? 6, and just hitting it. Some seem to handle it better than others, but I think it is a pretty normal part of this age.

I bought the gym equipment I wanted over time and have it at home....

My husband has no intention of dieting, and would prefer that I don't. My three young children are at very low weights for their heights, so a restrictive diet for them is absolutely not on the table. I either eat smaller portions of what everyone else is eating and maybe add a bunch of veggies, save calories for meals at…

OP - shortly after I started on MFP, I started tracking my weight and calories and exercise calories every single day in a spreadsheet. From that I could see the pattern of weight loss and adjust based on what the numbers were telling me over time. For me (5'4'' female about the same weight as you) - here are some things…

How long have you been on this plateau?
-
As strange as it sounds, you may want to bump up your calories for a few weeks to break a plateau rather than lower them. If you have been dieting a while, taking a week off can also help, mentally, physically and emotionally.
-
I'd say that 1200 is too low for you. 1400 may be pushing it too. There is no reason to feel hungry all the time to lose weight.

Well, according to the CDC world view... Binge drinking is the most common pattern of excessive alcohol use in the United States. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and AlcoholismExternal Web Site Icon defines binge drinking as a pattern of drinking that brings a person’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to 0.08…

If you want to eat breakfast, but don't like typical breakfast foods, you can just eat foods that you would typically eat for other meals. You don't need something special.
-
Don't run. If you are that addicted to running that you can't take a break for an injury, you may want to find someone you can talk to.

I ended up with emergency surgery and lost an ovary because it ruptured my intestines and infected my stomach. I am not a fan.

You are making this up, right? Right? At least you will have some laughs at work.

Maybe it is like being back in second grade on the playground where the boys showed they liked you by pushing you and stuff?

While reading this, the song "Red High Heels" was going through my head. This seriously sounds like a great way to hurt yourself. Not only that, but you will quickly destroy your heels. They aren't made for that kind of activity.

When I was 1-2 months pregnant is when I needed it. I was so sick I hardly had any energy, and I usually needed to get right to the bathroom.
-
My doctor let me lift through most of my pregnancy with some very strict guidelines. I had to lower my weights. Good luck and Congrats!

I have to be early for everything. If someone starts to come earlier than me than I get extra agitated. It really gets to be that I am constrained in the mornings by what time I have to drop the kids off for school. Wall hangings have to be symmetrical on the wall. My husband keeps trying to make designs and it drives me…
