Hi Diane.... I'm new too... just started MFP on January 1st. and just joined this group yesterday. I figured it would be helpful along the way if I could talk to people who are going through the same thing I am going through. Good luck to all of us. :smile:

Soups, Chicken Breasts, and wraps are my "go-to" lunches. My favorites are the wraps. I use low cal and carb wraps and load it with veggies, lettuce, chicken or turkey.

Your weight will fluctuate all during the day. I doubt you gained 2lbs in 1 day. Try weighing yourself once a week.

Life goes on! Your diet should not just be a weight loss goal but a life style change. Are you never going to go out to eat again? Make healthy choices. Learn to live while eating healthy!

I don't eat breakfast. I'm never hungry in the mornings so my first meal, lunch, will be around noon or 1:00.

Under the heading that says "Message Boards >> Wednesday Weigh In!! >> you will see a tab the says "settings" click on that and there will be way to add that scale that says how much you have lost. Hope that helps.

I just found My Fitness Pal on January 1st. and joined so I'm really new at this. Glad I also found this group.. I think it should help me stay on track and add a bit of pressure that I need.
