My goal right now is just to be healthy. I'm trying not to be obsessed with calories, but it's really hard. There's another problem. When I'm at home (as I am now) I can't prepare my own meals. I'm left with estimating what I've been served based on what I witnessed when I was being taught how to cook. Chia and flax seeds…

For me, it isn't just the red numbers that's got me down. It's the numbers itself. I've been trying to increase by "just 100" but once I do, I revert back after one day because I can't deal with the increase in number.

I don't have any pictures, but I've been starting to blog about my dinners. Goal is to be under 600 calories. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/caputdragons

I'm going to report my height as 5'1" because depending on the day I'm between 5'0" and 5'2". Like the above poster, a few pounds of weight feels/looks like a lot on me. I don't have a scale so I have no idea how much I weigh... The last time I weighed myself was 1.5 months ago, and I was 105 pounds. So I think I'm trying…

I'm slightly younger, at 18 years old. My maintenance, non-TDEE, is 1470 calories. I'm 5'0" and 105 pounds.

I'm 18. STATS: HW: 110 CW: 105 LW: 95 Goal: 105 I exercise 7 days a week, mostly cardio. I do bodyweight training circuits as well every other day. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? 105 pounds HOW TALL ARE YOU? 5'0" (Idk, sometimes measure all the way up to 5'2") WHEN/HOW DO YOU WORKOUT? Usually in the afternoons. During the summer,…

I think I'm 5'0", although a lot of people say I look like I'm 5'2". I have no idea. I weigh 105 pounds, and I'm trying to maintain now.

Hi, I don't have an open diary but I will post status updates about my meals upon request. It's just that sometimes I eat at a very concerning deficit, and do NOT want people to get wrongly "inspired" by those. When I get around to increasing my mileage, I will consider myself a runner, but for now, I don't feel that I am…

I don't know if I'd consider myself a runner just quite yet (my mileage is not where I want it), but on the days I don't run, I incorporate some kind of activity. These days, it's been biking, and bodyweight training.

I just tell my friends that when I get stressed, my body can't handle highly processed food, which is mostly true. They don't question it. Sometimes I make up a white lie about why I'm stressed out. Also, I don't know what size you are, but I'm petite so if I tell my friends I need to pack away half the food, they don't…

Hey. I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm a college student who's 18 and I've also have, up until recently, been eating at a big deficit. I'm about two weeks in to maintenance. I think I'm going to add you. I don't share my diary with people but I'll probably post stuff about my food in status updates or something if you're…

Ah, no wonder why physics was never my strong suit. It's frustrating, because I know that in the case of windows at least, it's not going to be a good reflection because sometimes they're at angles, but then when I look, I lose it.
-
It's odd, because I can look in mirrors and that's fine... Not sure how feasible therapy is for at least a few more months.
-
Haha, realized I forgot boobs... lol that sounds weird. I don't really notice my weight there because I was small there to begin with.
-
I think my body is weird. I notice my weight leave my butt first. Then my belly, then thighs, then arms, and lastly face. I think I'm stuck with a round babyish face. I'm currently maintaining, but my round face never went away.
-
This is such a cool idea! :D I'm not currently looking to lose weight, though. :(

I'm 5'0" and 105 pounds. I think I'm happy with how much I weigh. I wish my legs were less bulky though.
-
My legs are kind of bulky so I just end up buying two sizes bigger to accomodate them so I always have to wear a belt and pull it tight. I get ankle length skinny jeans, and the length works out. As for shirts, I don't have much of a problem. My shoulders are kind of big, but not a huge problem. I'm 5'0" and 105 pounds.

I love seafood. I would also love red meat and chicken/turkey but I have to eat them at a snail's pace in order not to get heartburn. I can't have nuts or dairy, but when I used to not be allergic, I loved cheese, peanut butter, pistachios and walnuts. Carbs with protein are also wonderful -- soba noodles (yum!) and…

I eat at least 1280 calories a day. I guess that's pretty low, and there are ways I could add calories. (However, I can't eat some of those (i.e. dairy, nuts). Avocado and seeds are lovely but they're not too cheap. Also, I don't like drinking flavored stuff because it takes away from the flavor of actual food. Many…

The only exercising that makes me truly ravenous is swimming. Other exercises make me tired and thirsty, and I don't feel hungry for another few hours.
-
You can go wherever they sell scales and try them out. I actually go to Bed, Bath and Beyond every so often to weigh myself. I don't know how often you want to weigh yourself. I typically only go once a month at most. Otherwise I go by "do my non-stretch skinny jeans fit me still?"

I think I'll check out sunbutter :) I've never actually seen it. I just googled it and it seems that my local grocery store doesn't carry it... The Walmart does, though. I also didn't know about hemp -- thanks!

I'm not bipolar but I've been struggling with depression. While I was on my medication (sertraline) my psychiatrist kept emphasizing that I could expect to gain weight. I was often exhausted as well. Since I was exhausted even though I was eating perhaps more than my maintenance calories, I decided that I would cut…

Thank you for all your replies! I know I don't necessarily need to have a post workout snack, and that I can just eat a meal afterwards, but my schedule doesn't work out that way, only on weekends.
-
Thanks everyone! Yes, I can have seeds. I'd actually forgotten about those!

Fruit after workouts taste amazing, but I've been told it's ideal to get some protein pretty soon after working out to make sure my body recovers properly. Thanks anyways for the suggestion.
