  • Booze! As much as I love to kick back with a drink I found that I was tired and bloated the next day...and the empty calories add insult to injury. No drinkie for me until I see some results =(
  • I've also read in fitness magazines that caffeine can cause a temporary boost in metabolism and energy. I think it also suppresses appetite but also can dehydrate at the same time. As long as I'm not harming my body, I'll do whatever helps me to be more successful in my weight loss goals. Maybe stick to a limit of one…
  • Big and Chunky by Will.I.Am Too funny!
  • Here's 8! Sorry I just can't help myself. My workout would be nothing without my groove on! 1. Responsitrannity - RuPaul 2. Beautiful People - Chris Brown (Ultimate High Radio Mix) 3. Hands - The Ting Tings 4. Don't Stop the Party - Black Eyed Peas 5. Bright Light Bigger City - Cee Lo Green 6. When You Leave - Basshunter…
  • My husband has problems with that too. The elliptical is great since it is a fluid motion and it still gets the heart pumping. Maybe you could do a trade for one on Craigslist or the classifieds? You could also try a rowing machine, stair stepper, spin bike, etc. Videos may still work for you - just find ones that don't…
  • I definitely agree that Fage tastes the best although Chobani is a close 2nd. I know the Chobani champions are for kids but they're kinda yummy. I've heard of people adding splenda to fage 0%. Haven't tried it since I usually go for the 2% strawberry, peach, and honey.
  • Fat free french onion dip is tasty with veggies. Athenos hummus is good too and lower calorie than some others.
  • Mmmmmm sounds good! Thanks for the recipe!
  • OMG, this made my day. Those are hilarious.
  • You don't have to eat them. For a lot of people it helps having those extra calories to stay at or under their calorie limit. Although I think they recommend eating at least 1200 calories worth of food in a day - regardless of exercise.

  • My favorite is chocolate peppermint stick! I eat them when I'm more than just a little hungry and it's not time to eat a meal yet. It holds me over and keeps me from over-eating at meal time. Funny how eating can help you eat less!
  • I have the same problem. It does take getting used to. The more often you eat less, the easier it will become. Some healthy yet filling foods I go to are protien bars (luna, special K, etc) greek yogurt, fruits & veggies, soups, and so on.
  • Give it some time. In my experience, it takes a week or two to start seeing the pounds melt - but when they do it is well worth the perseverence. Try to weigh yourself in the morning before you eat every time too if you aren't already. Also, it depends on what time of the month it is...don't underestimate how much water…
  • I know how you feel! The weekends are so hard to stay on track. Don't feel bad though - a lot of people have a hard time Friday-Sunday. What helped me and what might help you too is the book "Eat this not that". It teaches easy calorie-saving tips for a range of situations such as this. It is written like a manual so you…
