  • Ha ha. Oh the sarcasm. How it brings joy to my heart. No. Seriously. This guy has a legit question. My neck is pure muscle. There is no room to shrink, but my chin is like a damn pelican. I'm supposed to look at the ceiling and chomp? Get real. Somebody with a serious idea please?
  • Tape? Hmmm? Something I haven't tried yet. Thanks!
  • Yes, I usually just stick to the basics, but I do sneak into the conference room and do push ups and crunches. I think planks and such would only benefit me with weights. Thanks guys. So. Stay active, just not on my legs. Got it:)
  • Only on the inner part of both legs. I only get time to exercise during my half hour lunch break. I live an hour away so biking wouldn't work. (I'd be in great shape if I did that!! ha ha) I also don't yet own a bike. I have a desk job and try to walk about 500 steps every hour or so, but it's not enough. When I get home I…

  • If there is one thing I'm doing right, it is nutrients and vitamins. I hit the right ones daily, but I will look into the shoes. Thanks
  • Good ole Walmart sells Avia running shoes. Amazon has good reviews. I understand each individual is different and so will have different opinions/results. Anyone like Avias? They're only 25 bucks. 1/4 of the cost of the "running shoe" store's price.
  • Thank for all of your input. I thought of trying a cheaper pair before going with the recommended ones. I never saw a doctor about it because frankly, where I'm from, you can't trust the doctors. I can diagnose myself better on WebMD. I went in with a broken ankle that I COULD NOT walk on, and they said there was nothing…
  • Yes. I should have added that detail. I do not only walk during my lunch breaks. I do a lot of strength training. (Maybe not enough on my legs) I have a bowlfex, I use free weights or whatever heavy I can find laying around. Like I said, I'm active to the extent I can with my life schedule, but the running never used to…
  • But god damn wouldn't it be nice if it worked!!

  • Ohhhhh. I see now. Cool. I'm glad someone told me that. No wonder!! Thanks folks. Still think I've been doing it rigfht and I do not believe for one second i am missing on portion amounts. I always highball myself so I think I have to eat less. And I don't log every move i make after work. Reasons being, there is no…

  • Not sure what KWIM is? However, I completely questioned that too. Then I did about a thousand google searches and they all say you burn calories at a desk. The amount varies, of course, but unless every single article and calculator I looked at was a mile off, I have a hard time believing I'm burning nothing sitting here.…

  • Now that is good news. Thanks! I've recently been hitting fiber hard. Pushing 30 grams a day or better. Now if I could just say no to the weekend beers I'd be winning this race!!
  • Today, for example, I had a whey protein shake with a banana in it and an exact count of 22 biscuits of frosted mini wheats. That was enough for it to warn me that my sugar was getting too high. Now, I'm not so foolish to think something called "frosted" anything is going to be low in sugar, but I'm also not a 100% all out…
  • Thank you all for your responses. Um.... I drink so much water I rarely see color (except right away when I wake up) and I wasn't trying to imply I'm shooting up these nutrients or anything, just the red letters tell my brain I did something wrong. For instance. I should be consuming 1 gram of Protein for every pound that…
