We all fail, but as long as we get back up and set our sights on the goal, we will get there again.

it can be.. if you're losing 2ish-2.5 lbs a week?? depends on your starting weight too, i hear as you near your goal weight, it's hard to lose weight.. good luck!! i hope you hit that goal!

I started using my food scale and it really gave me a good idea of how much foods weigh. I go out to eat less, but I still go out to eat on occasion. Eating to me is a social environment, therefore it's really hard to avoid 100%, so I have had to learn how to make better choices (such as baked chicken, veggies, fish)..

i doubt it's the vitamins.. it could be your low body fat percentage as stated above.. You may have a hormonal imbalance..it is best you get some blood work done.

Awesome. Yes, I forgot to mention that's also why I cried... The thought of struggling to conceive really upset me. Can't wait to see where we all will be at the end of this year ladies!!

I'm so happy to see other PCOS ladies like myself. It's scary to think a lot of us only have 3-4 periods a year or have really long 30-40 day cycles!! I was diagnosed at 20, started metformin and it gave me the worst stomach aches! I quit after a year and gained 30 lbs easily! I turned 30 and was newly married and the…

I too have PCOS and it's been frustrating yo-yo'ing between 150 lbs -- 170 lbs -- 190 lbs -- and my highest 237 lbs!! I started MFP the beginning of February and have lost 8 lbs. It is possible to lose weight, but I have to be very careful about what I eat. Do you guys notice dark patches of skin as one of your side…

Hi! I was diagnosed at 20 years old and am 32 years old now. I was on metformin, but it made me sick, so I stopped using it. I finally made the decision I'm going to try to get healthier the natural route by portion control, making better choices and getting more active. Ever since I started in December, I have been able…

I saw some photos from the holidays and realized my face was so round looking! No matter how much makeup I put on, my facial features just sink into my chubby face. I also have PCOS and do not want to go back to using metformin. Since I started watching what I eat, I have been able to get my menstrual cycle going. I hope…

I get bored with typical workouts and I find that hiking different trails gives me variety, as well as being able to see beautiful sights. I know you are concerned with anxiety and being out in nature is very soothing. :) Oh, and also if I feel like quitting I can't because I still have to find my way back to the car. LOL.

An easy food to add would be rotisserie chicken, you can buy a whole chicken cooked fresh at costco or henry's/sprout's and probably other places. Add some steamed veggies as a side dish, like broccoli as others have said.

PCOS is definitely tough. I too have PCOS and have lowered the amount of carbohydrates that I eat.. I only eat one type of carb a day, be it bread, rice, pasta or potatoes. I'm a huge carbo-holic!!I just try to focus on eating more fruits and veggies, proteins and dairy. In 18 days I have lost 6 lbs, so hopefully it keeps…

Hi, I'm Audrey and I live out in East County. I just joined MFP and I'm liking it so far! Hopefully some of us can be friends and motivate one another.
