Personally, I prefer to have a protein smoothie about 30 minutes before I work out. That way there's not the heavy feeling of food in my stomach and I'm not getting lightheaded because I'm hungry.

I have found the thing that helps me is not being on a 'diet'. What I mean by that is, I'm changing my lifestyle, not just what I buy at the grocery store. Excercising, trying to cut out processed foods, drinking more water, etc. I know it's hard to not focus on food when you're trying to lose weight, but after a little…
