I so wish I knew the answer to this. Before our beach trip in May, my husband began working out and was feeling amazing. He was in such a better mood all the time. After the trip, he quit going to the gym (we still pay $40/month for the membership in case he decides to go) and he's always complaining about how tired he is.…

Me! I love having new friends! Most of mine have quit logging daily!

Maybe you should check with your doctor? If this is a typical day for you, you need to be eating way more than this. Especially if you are active. With that type of diet, you are getting very little nutrients.

I'm (almost) 24, a student, and a mom to 2 kiddos! I'll add you!
-
haha I love your introduction! I have 2 children, though I never had a C-Section. I still like to blame my flab on going through 2 pregnancies.. Except my youngest is turning 3 in August :) I'll add you!

I'm always looking for new friends for inspiration! Feel free to add me!

You've been at it less than a week. It's a diet pill, not a miracle pill. Give your body time to adjust to what's going on. Keep eating clean.. The weight will come off.
-
Yes. It is normal.. Make sure you are giving your muscles the proper recovery time between workouts.

I bought the FT4 in February and I have no complaints. I use it every day!

Double ^^ this. Why is it such a shocker for people to do this nowadays? I have a cousin that cannot accept that fact that I'm losing weight strictly by diet and exercise with NO supplements other than a multivitamin. Drives me batsh*t crazy.

I tried to read through all of the comments. Didn't get through them all, but I read enough. Losing weight should be the last of your worries. You should be worried about getting ALL of your children away from this psycho. Him saying that he wished it were just the two of you is a red flag. There's no way in hell I would…

I'm a mom as well and in the middle of my weightloss journey.. I log daily and have an open diary. I'll add ya :)

bahahaha that's great! Way to go!

I'm on my second round.. Idk what motivates me, TBH. I'm getting great results and I can feel myself improving. I think that is motivation enough for me! If I'm feeling sluggish, I make myself push play and tell myself to at least do the warm-up (which is a workout in and of itself.) After I have done the warmup, I always…

I think they are necessary for most people, just to keep them sane! However, not everyone has them. To each their own. I don't necessarily have cheat DAYS, but I do have "cheat meals" a few times a week. However, they usually end up fitting into my daily goals so idk if they really count as cheating. If I did a…

I'll add you.. Always looking for new friends for motivation!

Why not? It doesn't require any extra equipment and the first month videos can be done in a half hour. A lot of the infomercials that I've seen use the workouts from the second month. The second month is on a whole different level than the first.. I am currently in the 3rd week of my second round. The DVDs were given to me…

Ugh I hate my thick legs. Jeans NEVER fit right! Way to go on reaching your goals, though. :drinker:

Zumba! You forget you're even exercising!

Anyone can add me! Looking for more friends for motivation!

Friend request sent :)

I think I would go insane if I had to give up my wine. I already gave up my delicious, sugary, high-calorie coffee drinks.. I think at this point you'd have to pry the wine bottle from my fingers lol :) Best of luck to you!!
-
OP, I will add you. Everyone else feel free to add me too! I lost 15 pounds having only one friend on here.. But, I feel like it's time to have some motivation from others!

Without looking at your diary, I have to ask how many calories you are NETTING a day. I would guess you are eating too little. That seems to be the most common problem with new MFP members. Also, try eating 5 small meals a day rather than 3 large ones. Try to add more protein in your diet, which keeps you feeling satisfied…

I did Insanity during exams as well.. You shouldn't be in much of a caloric deficit while doing Insanity. If you follow the nutrition guide, you will eat a lot. The workouts are very short the first month as well, so they won't take too much time out of your day. Personally, I have a ton of energy because of Insanity & the…

Yes, or most of them. Pay attention to your "net" calories. You should never have any less than 1200 net calories, and even that is quite low.
-
I LOVE your post! I could use someone like you. I'm doing Insanity, and am currently trying to figure out how many calories I should be consuming. I try to log honestly (some days I log some of my meals, and then get too busy and forget about logging the rest.) But, I actually just opened my diary up this morning to hold…

Stay at Home mom here as well :) 23, two children, looking for friends to stay motivated! Lost 17 lbs so far, hoping to lose an additional 20-30! Feel free to add me!

I am a stay at home mommy to my two children, ages 5 and 2. I am 23. Feel free to add me-- I try to log on daily! I need more MFP friends to keep me motivated!

Is he maybe embarrassed that he has put on weight? A gym only magnifies how out of shape someone is. My husband and I went through this same thing. Could you maybe try a home workout series for awhile and then progress into joining a gym together? Just suggestions!
