So glad I saw this thread! I started running in May and haven't had to run in the cold yet. I live in east central Illinois and we have some harsh winters here. I am planning on doing a 5k race in December and was wondering what in the world to wear. All posts sound like great ideas, thanks!

I added greek yogurt to my diet probably 3 months ago and love it now. I add granola and blueberries or rapberries to it. Yummo!

1) good running shoes 2) moisture wicking clothing 3) watch 4) gum 5) runkeeper app on my iphone I do not listen to music while running. I want to be able to hear everything around me...traffic, my breathing, my steps...It's great to be able to listen to that stuff compared to hearing my 2 kids fighting :smile:
