me too on the coffee:drinker: - but I use the sugar free ones- vanilla or hazelnut. Sugar free has less calories and of course no sugar. Tastes the same too. :smile:

Another thought on this whole topic- the poor little Anthony girl was murdered and her mom got off scott free. But now it's being debated that obese kids be taken away from their parents. WTH is wrong with this picture????????????????

IMO you should do what you enjoy. If you don't enjoy it, you won't stay with it. Everyone is different- personally, I love to run! Just do what you like :smile:

No I do not. No one is a perfect parent. And who is to say that the parent tries to suggest healthier foods and the kid sneaks junk anyway? I try to get my kids to eat healthy, but they still want their milk and cookies in the afternoon! They are nowhwere near obese though. I just do not think it is ethical to take kids…

Every activity you do and log thoughout the day adds up to one big total block of time on here. I use splenda in my coffee everyday. No issues...and I'm still alive! No it's not the most perfect thing in the world for you, but who really honestly eats perfect????

It's not THAT bad. not the best so i wouldn't have it everyday. it's a treat- enjoy! but spaghettit sounds great- whole wheat noodles -mmm!

The only thing I ever used was the pills. I used to take the active ones everyday for 3 months and then the inactive ones for a week , so I only ended up having my menstrual cycle 4 times a year. (After 2 kids though, I got fixed so I don't use anything now.)

I tacke evrything and end up over on sugar also. Fruits and yogurt always have the bigger amounts in my diary.

I try to stretch my sides out before I run. Stand with your feet about shoulder width apart and put your arm over your head and reach to the opposite side. I've also noticed if I eat too much before I run, I'll get those side stitches. I have to eat, so I just try not to eat big before running.

I actually have tried quinoa, but the family didn't like it too much :(. I added chicken broth to it and just boiled it. It didn't have much flavor. Maybe I'll try adding stuff init like you suggested though. Thanks!

I think it is best to stretch before and after any exercise! It warms up the muscles before running to prevent injury and it helps keep soreness away by stretching afterwards.

Yep I totally agree- I'm almost 38, and have 2 children. I think it's just another "gonna have to live with it" thing- just like stretchmarks. Eat right and exercise is all you can do I guess.

So glad you posted this! I am looking to get my time better too! I've done four 5ks now and have gotten better, but still looking to get a faster time! My last one was 31:13, but I really want to get under 30 minutes!!
