They may not be the best shoes, but I got a pair at payless that are made for dancing. They are made by Champion and look kind of like running shoes, but they have a slick material on the bottom that allows you to pivot. They were about $20 and I have been wearing them for over 2 years. I went to a hip hop class tonight,…

I started juicing in December and I have noticed a huge difference in my energy level. I'm not fasting or doing anything extreme, just having one glass of fresh fruit/veggie juice a day and trying to eat right. I haven't had a nap since (I was once told I was napping my life away lol). Even on the days I don't do so hot on…

To stay on track with eating healthy I keep the phrases "Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym" and "you can't out-exercise a bad diet" in mind.

I have Zumba 2 and I love it. I didn't really like the first one, but I also didn't give it much of a chance. I was already familiar with Zumba, but the dances in the game were different than what I had done before. They are easy to pick up after a few trys and it is really alot of fun :)

I feel the same way about people at work waiting for the elevator in a 2 story building. It is only one flight of stairs! I understand the people that need it (injured, handicapped, pregnant), but when I see able-bodied people just standing there waiting instead of climbing 1 flight of stairs it makes me shake my head. I…

You can find some of the DVDs on ebay. The Sculpt and Tone DVD is a great workout! I have both DVD sets, but probably do that one the most often. Zumba Fitness 2 for the wii is also great. I have been doing Zumba for 2 years, but just went to my first live class this week and I love it so much more! It is so much fun, I…

I haven't checked it out yet, but skinnytaste.com has an under $10 section. Everything I have made from that site has tasted wonderful, even to the kids. It also has lots of healthy casseroles that can feed a big family.

I'm with abnerner....try skinnytaste.com. Everything I have made from that site has been amazing!

"you look good for your age" Like women over 30 shouldn't look good?...ugh!

I have the 2nd Zumba game for the Wii and I love it! I was really disappointed in the first one.

I say wear nothing but a heart rate monitor and log it!!

Everything you just said is told to me almost every day! People bigger than me get irritated when I say I'm trying to lose some weight. I may not be huge, but I have a right to want to look and feel my best too. I need to lose about 12-13 lbs. and tone up. I was thinking of posting something similar. We can do this!!

I had the same problem. I was entering "modern dance" or something like that and it was saying I was only burning 200-300 cal/hour. I recommend getting a heart rate monitor and tracking your own calories. I did that and it said I was actually burning 800-1000 cal/hour! :)

Guilty pleasure, but E.T. by Katy Perry....the version that doesn't have Kanye West in it..

Definitely Mexican food...especially sour cream chicken enchiladas!!

Chicken Cordon Bleu made with those light swiss laughing cow cheese wedges and smoked ham is delicious!

I would recommend getting a heart rate monitor and creating your own exercises.

This will be my first time. I have always wanted to do it, but never thought I could reach the fundraiser goal. This year I decided to go for it and I am halfway there! I haven't even started asking for donations yet. The walk here in Dallas isn't until November, so I'm sure I can make it by then. I think I will do this…

I think you will find the motivation and encouragement you need here. I know when I start losing my motivation, I get it back when I see that my friends did complete their goals for the day. Feel free to add me if you like...I could use more buddies!

I make a packet of plain oatmeal and smash a banana into it really well. It sweetens the oatmeal, gives it some flavor and you have a 200 cal breakfast. If I have some, I will add some chopped strawberries, blueberries, or and even some almonds. Great way to start the day!

I bought a cook this, not that cookbook...everything in it is 350 cal and under. I have only made a couple of things so far, but they were pretty good!
