Would have to be my 3yr old. She was sitting with me I was shirtless. She says daddy what are those? I say there stretch marks. She says oh when I grow up I want some of those too.

I'm new at this as well but you dont want to be at your max heart rate. 220-your age is your max heart rate. 140 range to start. As you do more it will take more to get to that heart rate. But starting out I think you would be fine at 140ish. 153 would be 85% of your max heart rate and good start point.

I believe what you are feeling are shin splints. Very common with people not active that become active. Go as long as you can till you can't. Stop and switch to a different machine.

Well I really have no excuses. Im a custodian at night and clean the schools rec center. So im already there before and after work. Its the eating part i need to get ahold of.

Over the last 3 days ive consumed about 3500 calories total. Ive burned about 1000 at the gym the last few days as well. Now I dont feel hungry. I drink a ton of water and well below my values. I feel like im on the right track. Finding things to eat is a challenge.

Great article thank you. I wondered about it and really potatoes and rice are natural. I can see processed carbs being bad for you. While I'm sure they aren't as good as veggies and such.
