Yes, its IF at 23:1. It fits well in my schedule and it seems to be the perfect fit for me as it's not been difficult to maintain at all. Hoping it stays that way. Thanks for letting me join. :smiley:

Thanks guys. That makes me feel better. I won't worry about the steps then. I think i'll take tillerstouch's advice and aim to get 30 minutes of increased heart rate. That would be simple enough if I go up and down the stairs for 10 minutes 3 times during the day. That will also boost up my floors per day count.

Yes it does miss a few stairs but I've learned how to keep my arm down whrn climbing but I can't imagine going from sitting on my butt to coming home after 8 hours in a pool of sweat and be only burning that amount. That happened to me in high school when my best friend's boyfriend didn't want her talking to me anymore. She "broke up with me" with a note in the lunch room. Really hurt. We're friends again and have been for over 10 years, but we arn't as close as we were before that.

The boobs part is what bothers me, They're getting flatter and flatter but since I still have a ways to go It's not so bad...yet. I totally think I'll wear a bra during sex for a long time just so I don't feel self conscious about it. But that won't stop me from losing the weight. It's far more important.

Works for me. I'm also a diabetic so it had a second health benefit than just weight loss. I love meat and fats so I don't mind missing the carbs.

No, but once I was buying pull ups for my son and the cashier said "Those are huge! Kids shouldn't still be wearing pull ups when they're that big" and I said "They do when they are permanently disabled." Shut her right the heck up. I hate nosy cashiers.

cardio burns more calories because it gets your heart rate up. Weight training keeps you from losing lean muscle which burns more calories than fat. Both important.

Some people look at an 8 ounce steak and think it weighs 3 ounces. lol and there is a big difference in calories. but if you're good at it, and you're losing weight then meh.

I do the same, I eat what I want and keep it within my calorie budget. Much easier to follow.

As long as you budget for them, and get the nutrients you need in the day, go for it! I eat what I want, take a vitamin, and eat other healthy foods. This is a lifestyle not a diet, you can't be miserable or you'll fail or gain it all back. Enjoy your sausages!
