Forgot to check in last week, but weighed in today & here are my stats: height = 5'4" weight on 6/1 = 189 cw = 185 gw by 6/30 = 179 things have been going good. just finished day 10 lvl 1 of 30ds. weekends are still a killer for me, but i'm working on making better choices. hope you all have a great fathers day weekend!!!

I think it just depends on what u can handle. I have a friend that does all 3 levels each day, while I'm still struggling to get thru lvl 1 after 8 days.

I have a nook color, and an ipad. the nook is great for reading, but the ipad is so much more versatile, i'd say it's definitely worth the extra $$

This fits me to a T! I do really good all week, but come Friday night, it seems like all my hard work & good intentions go out the window. I agree with one of the above posters about checking out the menu ahead of time, if you know where you'll be going out to eat. Otherwise, try to make healthier choices & box up 1/2 of…

if there's more than one choice, i look at how many confirmations each entry has & go with the one with the most.

I think maybe they meant measurement error as in maybe your measuring your portions wrong... just a thought. do you have a food scale & measure/weigh everything you eat?

i have a cheapo hrm, that says i burn anywhere from 400-600 cals doing jillian michaels 30ds which is about 27 minutes. i don't believe it, & i don't generally eat back those calories.

5'4" 189 lbs as of yesterday. I try to stay around 1200 cals daily, and have been doing 30ds for 5 days now. I usually try to workout 30-60 min 5 days a week. Weekends are a killer for me :drinker: , so hopefully this challenge will help me focus & stay on track for the WHOLE month, not just weekdays

I'm interested too

Spicy Italian on Monterey cheddar, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, onion, black olives, ranch, jalapeño & banana peppers. Yum! My go to low cal is turkey breast & ham on wheat.
-
I would say try upping your protein at mealtimes. 1 oz isn't very much chicken, turkey, etc...

Welcome & Good Luck on your journey. My one suggestion for now would be to make sure you're getting in at least 8 - 8oz glasses of water daily. It really helps fill the tummy & is good for you!

LOL!!! too funny. it's 3pm here too, but i settled for sliced cucumbers & onions in vinegar. not as delicious as a moist, chewy goody, but it seems to have filled the mid-afternoon void in my tummy!

i've always measured it after cooking. not sure if that's how i'm supposed to do it, but it makes more sense to me.
-
i don't consider any other liquid to be water except good old fashioned plain water.

if you like beer, budweiser select 55 is pretty good. it's only 55 calories per 12 oz bottle/can.
