I am the same way. I try to stay between 1000-1150/day because it's the only way I lose. A lot of people focus on calories but I also have to focus on macros -- like you, lower carb. Every body is different - it's definitely a matter of finding what works for you. Thanks for the list :)

For me -- No. If I have a treat day it leads to cravings and I fall off the wagon. A small cheat meal or snack, MAYBE -- but personally if I eat something I shouldn't it really messes up my progress.

Feel free to add me! I have about 80ish to go -- it's really going to depend on how I look/feel.

Banana = weight gain for me. I have to settle for frozen strawberries. *sigh*

I am currently taking Phentermine. This is month 4 (Max amount that my doctor will allow) -- it requires monthly appts for the prescription and to ensure blood pressure is OK. It really does suppress appetite -- so if you are one to overeat it may help. After a couple weeks or so I felt a little off... like I had a huge…

Well -- the biggest benefit of Unsweetened Almond or Coconut milk is low on carbs/sugar. Milk, even skim, has a bit of sugar -- occasionally I'll use skim vs one of the others in my protein drink and wow... it really tastes so much better. And I know it's because of the sugar LOL

I usually stick to coffeemate powdered creamer (a few tablespoons) with 2 packets of sweet and low.

It Works -- TOTAL JOKE. Weight Watchers is a great plan if you would prefer to count points vs calories -- I did the program at one time and found that the points I were allowed came to a similar calorie count as MFP, so stopped using it.

50 days here -- feel free to add me :)

I really believe it depends on the person. 1500 calories a day eating what I want just doesn't work. So I focus on staying within 1500 calories and hitting a certain # of grams of protein and staying under a certain # of grams for carbs.

I love looking at "before" -- I'm still a work in progress, though. But it's really motivating. Especially when putting one next to a current and comparing -- it keeps me motivated to keep going. Like... WOW! If I look this much better since then, just imagine how great I'll look when I hit goal!

I used to love doing classes. Zumba, step aerobics, kick boxing, Yoga... But I've had a hard time fitting in the current schedule and find that working out solo is relaxing because I can jam out to my own music. I switch it up. Tonight was cardio. 25 minutes on stationary bike. 10 minutes on treadmill at 3.0 and 5 minutes…

I definitely need to invest in one

My container of cottage cheese is 16 oz. I ate 1 cup one day. I cup another. 2nd time there was no less than the first... seems as though my measuring cup is accurate.
-
....how???
-
Yes - for the cottage cheese I used a measuring cup

THANK YOU!

I've been very careful with measuring, but it's always a possibility I'm not exact with my measurements. My calorie goal was 1200 but my doctor told me I wasn't eating enough (weight was just not coming off) and told me to increase to 1500. 1200 was easy. I figured 1500 was easy. But this last week 1000 is my norm. I am…

It has been almost 3 years (11/22) and it is a drastic change from what it was a few weeks ago. I have been doing some protein drinks to try and supplement, but they are so low in calories. I have struggled to get off my weight... even after having WLS I am halfway to my goal. My doctor told me to increase my calories to…

It's a compliment but not a good pick up line -- it won't get you anywhere.

Anyone can feel free to add me! I have about 95ish more to go.
-
I know people who have done it. Sure, they lost a few. But gained it right back. it's not healthy, you aren't giving your body what it needs, and it's temporary.
-
Me personally, I have had a decrease in appetite. I have quite a ways to go from my goal weight but I do have days from time to time where I don't hit 1200 calories, my daily "goal" is 1500. It's possible. But for me, not an everyday issue.
-
It's staying at my son's dad's house... that is what I have decided LOL
-
Add me :)

I had the sleeve done and my surgeon has actually recommended converting to DS! I'd love to hear your experience with it. I'm quite a ways away from goal and lost close to 90 lbs. I've been yoyoing for months now.

I have been doing smoothies lately. I'm not super hungry in the morning and it helps me hit a good chunk of my fiber for the day. Today's smoothie contained... 1 scoop chocolate delight FitMiss protein powder 1.5 cup unsweetened almond vanilla milk 1 tbsp sugar free fiber powder 1.5 cup unsweetened frozen strawberries big…

my go to is an iced americano w/cream and sweet and low.

I like FitMiss. Also, if you like coffee, Click Mocha is great.
