I personally wouldn't use any diet aid that cannot be assumed into a permanent lifesyle change. What happens when you stop taking them? (gain it all back and more?) I've tried some natural pill without caffeine in it to not add too many stimulants but it still made me very jittery , I couldn't concentrate and couldn't even…

It looks like you have made many great changes that your body is thanking you for. As to why you're not losing, I agree with dshandt, you may require professional guidance. We'll definately do our best to keep you motivatedyou but sometimes you need to go higher up for advice. I was convinced I was eating well (whole…

I believe: 55 is for those approx 5'6 and under 65 is for 5'7 to 6 feet 75 for 6 feet and taller Check the fullness of your ball if you have the correct size and your knees are still high then maybe its not full enough.

It's not worth it. You will feel worse (mentally and physcially) for eating it. When you want to splurge pick something you absolutely love and have the time to enjoy not just something that is there.

just make sure your knees are in line with your hips. Not higher or lower, it will add strain on your back.

Welcome! You'll get lots of help here. Ask and you shall receive. You find many of your questions will be answered in past posts and there is a lot more great information. I've had a great 2 weeks here and fantastic results. It's a simple concept; maintain your calorie, fat, protein and carb intake, find foods that satisfy…

Thunder Bay, Ontario Yes, our winters are cold but our summers are also very hot. I've neer seen an igloo or dog sled. I personally don't like hockey. It's a good thing we have other sports to play here. We may have under 30 million people in Canada but I still don't know your friend, from that place with all the trees.…

Thanks. I do eat my workout calories, trust me I live for them. They keep me going to the gym. lol! I think I'm not getting enough veggies and fruit to keep me full. I'll keep plugging along.

I am right there with you. I'm stuck because I've never been lower than this. It doesn't matter how hard I try I can't budge. I've worked out to the point I can barely move and I can't possibly eat any less or any better. So what am I supposed to do? Results keep me motivated and this makes me want to quit and enjoy eating…

Counting calories is difficult at first if you haven't recorded in the past and it's even more difficult to see how much you were eating before. Once you get settled into the routine of logging your food you will become more aware of what you're eating all the time and you can make better choices even if you can't count…

Great workout! By doing incline and declines on your walk you were using a great deal of muscle. To build muscle you half to actaully tear the muscle (sounds terrible) for it to rebuild bigger and better. No you will not bulk up from it. The soreness is the torn muscles and they do need time to repair so a break or shorter…

Great job. Now I know I can do it. I have a one year olds birthday party this Saturday which is also my birthday. Of course there will be people pushing food on me but my goals and health are more worth it. Thanks for your note, it gave me a little help for this weekend.

Welcome. I've been here a week and have seen great results and I am going to keep at it. Good luck!

Every day is a new day. You recognize what you need to do so forget your past mistakes and start again. MFP keeps you honest. I never knew how much I was really eating until I logged it.

That's the plan. Working hard towards that. It's my birthday next Saturday and just bought a beautful dress that I want to celebrate in and those extra couple pounds will help my self esteem.

All the best to you as well from Canada. London is one of my favourite places and I look forward to going there again.

you'll love it here. Stay honest with what you record for food and exercise and share anything with the community board. There is a lot of support here.

Great job! I can't wait to get under 150. At 151 right now, sooo close. Keep it up! Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels, or so I have to keep reminding myself.

I like Kashi Go Lean Crunch and I add blueberries. It's not the best tasting cereal but fills me up for the morning and the blueberries break up the taste and provide excellent antioxidants.

Great. I'm glad I asked only 4 days into this plan. That was a good article. The easiest thing may be for me to wake up at 10am and sleep by 7pm so my calories get me through the day without hoarding them at night. kidding, but I could use the sleep. lol! I will try again tomorrow and every day after to keep on track.

In the morning and while at work I can be strict with with how I eat, mainly because I look forward to eating while relaxing at home. Is it ok to save (regular and workout) calories during the day for snacking later on or am I just packing on calories too late? I stay within my calories and eat well the rest of the day but…

I can have cravings any time of the month so I never deny myself. I can't wait to treat myself once a week so I find ways to eat the food I crave but in moderation or modified. If you want a chocolate bar get the mini pieces and freeze them. When you think you want one take it out but you have to wait for it to thaw to eat…

Thanks. I didn't expect such great responses so quickly. I think I'll get along on here just fine. But keep an eye out for me, I might need a kick in the pants every once and a while. Though I do feel my pants are getting to big for me already lol!

Help! I haven't even finished day 1 and I'm famished. I am generally a good eater (whole grains, protein, fruit...) but on this plan I've already cut back considerably and I'm over on my carbs and have only 450 calories left to last me the day and it would only be 120 if I didn't earn the rest working out. I should also…
