Gelato is kinda neat. I have been thinking of playing around with recipes and creating something 'healthy'. Pumpkin cheesecake is what I'm thinkin'.

You are welcome! I thank my student every day. Teachers learn as much from students as they learn from us, maybe even more!

Guess what I learned from my diabetic student? From around 10pm - 3am your body produces very little insulin. If you are awake, or burning the midnight oil, it isn't just oil you are burning. You burn through the insulin your body produces very quickly, thus the late night cravings, and the early morning low blood sugar.…

I think what you are looking for is to update a message board topic. Go in to message boards, and click on "My Topics" in the top center. These are all the topics to which you have contributed.

Yep, and salt. Adam's Peanut Butter also qualifies, I believe.
-
The whole food grocery store near me has a grinder. You put the peanuts in the top, set a jar under the spout near the bottom, and tada! You get natural peanut butter. I just have to laugh. Right next to my keyboard is a banana and two tablespoons of peanut butter in a ziploc bag! YUM. My second breakfast!

Well, if it's any consolation, I have a polar watch AND an iphone with GPS. I think my watch is way more useful than any workout tool I have ever acquired, although I do love the c25k app for my iphone AND my polar watch together. They make a good team.

Just checked, and YEP, map my run.

I think there is an iphone app (map my ride, I think?) that a friend of mine uses for bicycling. Wonder how it would translate for running. Maybe they have a "map my run" app.

That (the tattoo) is exactly what I did when I reached my "almost there!" goal!!

One egg and one egg white, and 1/2 cup (measured before cooking) oatmeal. I feel VERY full after eating this, but it helps me keep the cravings down almost all morning. If I don't want eggs, I eat toast with Adam's peanut butter instead.

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? No Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? No - food; No, exercise What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Conquered 3/4 of my stack of grading. What would I have done differently? Throw away the last of that candy. What is today's personal goals? Eat well, exercise, avoid or…

I'm joining. Sugar is not my friend. Sugar is not my friend. Sugar is not my friend. And I too wonder, like Kellygirl2, how you keep that stuff in the house. I think I am going to do the junk garbage purge tonight after the gym. The garbage man came this morning, so the can has room!

Honestly, I use YouTube! yogatoday is where the upload comes from. http://www.youtube.com/user/yogatoday#p/u/53/8SwZMQ4gREw This one is 51 minutes long. I set my laptop up on the floor, and do my workout.

When I make biscuits (almost every weekend for my boys), I always use liquid vegetable oil. I end up needed less liquid (water, milk, buttermilk, whatnot), so add the liquid last and just stop adding it in when the biscuit dough starts to stick together.

I always check fat, protein, and carb intakes, and then I make my decision. Like today. I have calories left, but my fat intake and carb intake is UP (I ate pasta), so I am stopping here.

I think you are learning the workout better each time, and are putting more effort into the workout as opposed to learning the workout. I know I give a workout MORE when I know how to do it.

Did you eat a lot of sugar and white flour before you started losing weight? I have found that the more white sugar and flour I eat, the more I want it. It creates a never ending cycle of a hungry me. This has to do with insulin and such. White flour turns into the equivalent of white sugar, and white sugar burns up…
