Congrats OP! Such an amazing transformation. I, too, am a runner, and while I KNOW that lifting needs to be added, I am loath to give up my runs. Do you still run? And, if so, what is your weekly schedule for lifting/running combined?

I'm just a tad under 5'6", and my goal weight is somewhere between 130-135. I can't seem to get down that far though no matter what I do. Well, I haven't starved myself yet, so that's an option (just kidding!). I'm about 140 right now. I know I have more muscle now than I have before, had 2 children and am 36, so I'm not…

When I was younger (and she was too), people would tell me all the time that I looked like the younger sister on "Charles in Charge." I think the actress's name is Josie something. She super pretty now, but back then I was bummed. She was not nearly as cute as Nicole Eggert.

Just finished A Feast for Crows - book 4. Not nearly as exciting as the 3rd in that series, but I'm looking forward to reading the next one. Also, going to re-read A Discovery of Witches.

Hi there! I'm 5'6" and right now I'm about 138-140. My original goal was to get down to 130-135, but I've stalled at this weight for quite some time. I can tell that I have gained muscle though despite the scale staying the same.

Morning for me. Have to get it in before hubby goes to work so someone is home with the kids. Too tired by the end of the day to do it at night, and the bugs are terrible then as well. Not to mention that it's beastly hot here, so early is cooler.

@Kayla - you have beautiful eyes yourself. Pic #3 is my fav.

LOVE THIS!!!

I like the one where you show your face. Very pretty! You look wonderful.

I dont' know for sure about the other shoe sites, but I know that the Brooks website offers a live chat option with some of their shoe specialists. You can tell them what you currently wear, how you run, etc. They will ask tons of questions and then give you a few options. Brooks is great because they have a no questions…

5'6" here too! Looking to get around 130-135, but I've been stuck at 138-140 for AGES! Good luck to you!

So glad I came across this today. It's been a little over 2 weeks at this, and the scale has started going in the wrong direction! I'm trying not to get discouraged and hang in there though. :ohwell:

bump . . . going to investigate!

Hi all! Just joined today, though I've been lurking, researching, and watching the videos for a week or so. Just a little info. to let you know why I'm here. I'm 36 years old, mom of 2, and while I'm at a healthy weight, I would like to lose those last stubborn 5-10 lbs. I've been stuck at the same weight (give or…

Yes, that's too few! My guess is that you were able to lose during your first 30 days because of your cheat days that helped to level out your calories. You need to eat!!

I think logging you food would be helpful. From your description of only eating soups and salads during the day, it's actually likely that you aren't eating enough! Your body is holding onto everything because you are overdoing it on the little calories you are consuming. I know if I let my calories get too low, I also get…

Bump! I've been trying to figure this out too!

Yes! So frustrating. It's actually more like an every other month thing for me. I'll maintain or even gain for a month and then the next it will drop down. I'm convinced it's hormonal, but I do wish there was some way to get rid of the water that I retain during the month!!

I've never run a 10k before, but I have done several 5K and a Mud run as well. All times I've had luck eating a couple pieces of whole grain toast with jam or pb at least an hour before race start. I too usually run in the early a.m. on an empty stomach, but the toast before race day has worked just fine.

Thought of a few more: Honeysuckle smells awesome. Most people's perfume and cologne do not. I have no problem crossing the road if there is shade to run in. Not a fan of saliva and snot, but during a run, I regularly spit and wipe my nose on my shirt or arm. Arranging the order of the songs on my IPod is a precise science…

<From last year's USMC Mud Run. Can't wait to do it again this year!

Bump for future reference!

Strawberry Greek yogurt, coffee, and a slice of homemade pumpkin bread!

I have this problem too! SO tired of pants not fitting my smaller waist. My favorite jeans right now are GAP Long and Lean jeans. No, you don't have to be long OR lean to wear them, trust me. But they fit great and help my short legs look longer.

From semi-rural North Carolina 1. nobody keeps their dogs on a leash or in a fenced yard, and they think it totally fine if the dog ventures into the road barking and growling at you. 2. People find it necessary to stop their cars to have a chit-chat about the weather, new neighbors, or - yes, this just happened last…
