After 1 week on IP, I have lost 11 pounds and almost 6 inches. I have not been perfect but keep myself accountable.

I'm in week 2 of IP, I lost 11 pounds & several inches (2.5 off waist & 2 off hips) the first week. Still not convinced the scale was right but they assured me it was. To be honest, I have been pretty good about sticking to the plan. However, I have not been perfect.

41....5'6"......201lbs.....and squeezing myself into my size 12 jeans. I am lucky that when I gain weight, it distributes evenly. My profile picture (and all but 1 of the others) was taken when I was a 159lbs about a year ago. I think I looked good and was happy at that weight. At that time, I was an 8-10. I don't think…

Using a BMI calculator can be extremely inaccurate. Take a body builder w/next to no fat, yet lots of muscle mass. It could classify the body builder as overweight. You have to take into account % of body fat. Here is a quick link to a site that has an article on it being out of date.…

I can't explain it but there sure is a lot of food in the breakroom all the time at night. I swear day shift leaves us leftovers and we, nightshift, seem to add to it. I too, bring my lunch/snacks. I find that bringing extra allows for choices also. I also like to bring in a few different texture items. Sometimes I just…

Had my "mommy makeover" surgery done (Feb 2012) and loved the results. However, I let myself not workout as much, got into a wonderful happy relationship, and therefore....I have gained quite a bit of weight back. With that being said, even at 201 (my starting weight Monday when I restarted my wellness program) I have a…

Just went for a consult today... I am consulting with a few surgeons prior to making my final decision. As far as my body goes, I like my breasts. They are the smallest I have ever been (B/C cup). However, at the age of 40 and 2 children later, they could use a little "reinflating". Therefore, I think the breast…

I am currently separated from my husband. He told me he wanted a divorce 3/31/11. I found out about the other woman 4/17/11. He moved out of the bedroom within days. We tried to live in the same house for a few months (for financial reasons). I finally told him to move out in July when he continued to contact his former…

I'm going with something I just picked up at the drive-thru "Beer-N-All" (still drinking it btw). It is called a "Suicide". It has vodka, tequila, and rum....quite sweet, frozen drink ;)

Thank you, me too :)

I started July off by celebrating Canada Day with some Canadian friends yesterday. I know I lost count how many drinks I had but I stuck to Malibu Rum mixed w/Sprite Zero or 10 calorie Tropicana Fruit Punch. So, here's to a weekend of working (at least for me) and maybe a couple days w/o alcohol?

For the longest time, I have wanted my 1st tattoo to be of candy (peppermints and the like). However, since I am on the path to divorcing my husband (whom I called "my sweet"), I have come up with another plan.... I want a butterfly coming out of its cocoon...or multiple butterflies but the same concept (to symbolize me…
