Why do you think a machine that doesn't know your height and weight and probably isn't calibrated often would be more accurate than your HRM? What does MFP say for calorie burns. Also, is your HRM set to the right height/weight?

I did a quick google search but can't find anything on pub med. webMD and other such sites state a link between not eating breakfast and insulin resistence in women. I will try having 1/2 my usual breakfast (making it 1/2 glass of milk + 1scoop of protein powder)

My doctor was a total pain in the butt. I also (likely) partially tore my ACL and meniscus and he told me it's not a big deal because he's had 3 reconstructive knee surgeries. So he wouldn't give me a brace for my knee or PT for my knee OR sciatica. I'm getting a second opinion but not sure what to do in the mean time.

Possibly. I try to eat back 50% exercise calories and I wear a HRM.
