Girl! 90lbs is truly incredible! And in 11 months! What worked for you as far as diet/exercise?

@SLLRunner Syntha-6: When I scan the barcode, that is the listing that pops up. I previously admitted that I had not been weighing protein powder but would do so in the future. PBFit: I weigh the powder here, the verified entry is in TBSP. I weigh half a serving and enter it as 1 TBSP. Chicken: I weigh the chicken when raw…

Before No, IUD Little, 1/4-1./2tsp or less per meal (as I usually only have one cooked meal per day) A few months ago Sorry, incoming menstrual talk. Alright, so a common side effect of an IUD is reduction/elimination of monthly cycle. However, within the past two months (after more than two years of not having it) I…

First time I've ever been called a troll or a liar on here. Really not helpful. Not to mention both are untrue. I'll try walking more for sure. I hadn't really thought of it that way. Stop logging when I am done eating and usually stop eating maybe two hours before bed. If I do eat something after I've logged I just edit…

Please be specific if you see an obviously wrong entry. I wouldn't want to use that one in the future. I used a verified entry in the MFP database, not sure what else I could do other than cross referencing via the USDA. I mentioned in an earlier reply, the two main solid foods I hadn't been weighing were bulgur and…

If I eat/drink it, I log it (except water). The only drink I consistently have, other than water, is tea. I log the sugar, milk, and tea leaves. Even the rare occasions I have 0 calorie drinks, I log those. No, I don't intend this long term. I have a lot of academic pressure right now and don't have/make as much time for…

I have nice non-stick pans for cooking on the stove, where I use the recommended 1 second spray of cooking spray. I use non-stick foil to roast things in the oven. The times I do use oil (today for instance) I measure and include it.

Ah science and math, feels so good (really!). I truly appreciate you listing how expected calories are calculated, and all of the other valuable information. I will make a plan to aim for 1400cal for a week, and try for 1500 the week after, eating back around 50%. Will also try to move more during study lest I grow roots.…

The past few days are accurate. I can download a pedometer app to see, until then my daily activity is: ride to school (2.5ish mi, whatever mapmyfitness says), sit in class/internship, ride to next class (don't usually count this it's less than 2 min ride), ride home (2.5ish mi again) do a cardio video 25min for 1, 50min…

I have to ride my bike to get to school (edit: this is also where the gym is), should I count this as cardio and try weights instead of more cardio 3-5 times a week? I can do this.

I admit that eating back calories is anathema to me and something I struggle with. It is hard to get over the mindset that deficit is necessary therefore more deficit must be better. Logically I recognize this, emotionally I don't. I keep thinking that I don't have an exact number for calories burned, just estimates, so I…

Well, I won't be able to get to my doctor until March for a scheduled check-up (again, away for school and I have VA healthcare so I can't just find a local Dr.). Until then I guess I will try to make sure: -look for verified entries -weigh bulgur/protein powder -aim for 1100-1200 calories a day vs <1100 Thank you for all…

Not in weight (change that is, I have no reason to lie and then seek advice). Unfortunately, I won't be home (I am away for school) until Thanksgiving when I can pick up my digital body tape measure. I realize it is an inaccurate tool, but I have seen no perceptible difference in how my clothes fit, I have a slim fitting…

What you are seeing as peanut butter is powdered peanut butter, 1 serving is 2 TBSP or 12g, what I do is put my shake on the scale and weigh it, but it is listed in the database as 2 TBSP (or half that if I use half a serving). Well, I do use a measuring cup for the quinoa/bulgur, so I will start weighing that. I will also…

Feel free to add me (anyone). I am sticking to the 1200 cal (or less). I try to get creative on the weekends but during the week it can get repetitive. But if all of us have different things we like to repeat we can mix and match

I am looking to lose about 100lbs also. Can never have too many people supporting you. Feel free to add me :)

I've liked all of the Halo Top I've tried so far. I haven't regretted any of those :)

Breakfast has the most variety for me (depending on class schedule). Protein pancakes, plain yogurt with bulgur, and an apple, eggs. I feel like I am stuck in a lunch rut trying to get enough protein that is portable. Usually it is a salad with either tuna or eggs. Dinner is almost always eggs or chicken, and roasted…

I am not a Doctor, but I have read a few news articles lately showing study results that children of overweight mothers are more prone to certain illnesses. I think you should speak to your doctor so you get medically sound advice.
