How's the price of fish where you live? I find fish has a lot of protein for the calories and budget. That is, if you like fish. :smile: Greek yogurt and cottage cheese are pretty good for added protein, too. But again, you have to like them.

I've been using smaller plates for several years now and while I agree that it looks like I have a heartier portion of food than I do, I still weigh in the 250s. :tongue:

I don't own a Vegetti but I have a julienne peeler that does a pretty decent job although not as cool as this gadget. I actually like the zucchini noodles better than pasta but I've never been a pasta lover anyway. I like the zucchini better than the spaghetti squash but the squash will do in a pinch.

It shouldn't be hard to eat healthy just because you're a stay at home mom, imo. Buy food that is nutritious for everyone and eat that. And what Galatea said … get outside with the kids and play or walk.
