If you don't have time to add in a food that may not be here yet or just no time period...you can choose this and do the quick calculation so you know that you are not over or under. Hope that helps, if you do carbs, you can find free carbs at Lea's Carbs too if you want. Hope that helped

CalieCat-the numbers are important, those are the amount of carbs in say 1/2 cup....if you are eating a low carb or in this case Induction with Atkins then you have to know this cause you are not allowed more than 20 grams of carbs a day. :heart:

Yeah eating Low carb...that is what has worked for me...other than that, I used to curb it with sugar free jello :heart:

I think this will work if everyone agrees with this topic of calories/exercise. I in fact do not agree with it. Nor does my doctor or my nutritionist....so I probably would be likely to say "hey this is my take" and here is someone else's......that is my take on this subject....I also don't count calories or eat low fat.…

We also have to remember that even though you have lost 35 lbs.....and cannot see inches drop.....we carry fat INSIDE our bodies too. I eat as much as I want and usually have it daily....works out to be about 2 - 4 oz a day....unless I grab too many string cheeses :P

Yep sounds normal to me. My hubby dropped 12 pounds in 2 weeks. Spoke to my doctor about this, and he said if you are very heavy it is ok to lose alot fast. IF you were close to goal this would be too much......

yeah its not realistic to eat no carbs. My husband and I do Atkins, and we eat 20 g of carbs a day....good carbs.....I feel much better eating this way. But to each their own......let me know if you need any help....................

what did you eat for lunch? If you had too many "bad" carbs they are probably done pretending to make you full. Try eating a lil bit of protein like nuts or an egg at lunch, might help to keep you full longer. I had this same issue for a very long time while counting cals and eating low fat. I have met a few people here that came to MFP to lose weight for their surgery and opted out of the surgery when they realized they could do it on their own without it. Maybe that will be you too!
