I used to live on a street with no shoulder that was hilly and curvy. I ran a ton so I would wake up a bit earlier and drive somewhere safer to run. Pissing off someone who has the ability to kill you just does not seem wise.

Are you eating 1200 and burning 200 so netting 1000? Please eat more. Sorry but a hormonal response to your diet and exercise is not good. If you weigh 200 lbs you need a lot more than 1200 net. Please find your TDEE and reduce by 500 calories and you should lose one to 1.5 calories a week which is healthy.

try cutting back on your exercise a bit. Lack of period and lack of weight loss are probably due to this. You are overstressing your body.

I do both. One day a week I do regular deadlifts and front squats. Another day I do back squats and stiff legged deadlifts. I am lighter for front squats than regular squats and lighter for the stiff legged deads than the regular deadlifts. You are nursing which means you need to eat. 1800 calories seems low to me. I nursed both my babies and at the 6 month mark I dropped a lot of weight. You do not need a spotter except maybe bench pressing. You can always ask someone at the gym to spot you. Do you have a plan you are going to follow? Return your shoes and get some that fit better. My running shoes are a size bigger than my regular shoes. Try on more than one pair and actually run in them. Shoes are the most important thing for running. Get a pair that work for you.

I have to agree with above body pump is not going to build muscle. 20kg squats is not giving you a big butt and thighs. You should look to a lifting program like starting strength.

I am 5 ft 9 and currently weigh 134 been training for about a year. Per the strength standards, I am past intermediate for all my lifts and moving to advanced. Love this post!!! I think having kids made me realize how great my body is and what it is capable of. Since then I have run multiple marathons and now lift some heavy weights. I love my 46 yo body more than I loved my 20 yo body which was so much skinnier.

Pear shape here I have worked hard to build upper body muscle, I find the fat on my hips and thighs is the last to go. By working out hard with weights I have maintained my upper body muscle while eating at a deficit and losing fat.

I see wine every day. If you really want to lose vanity weight you need to cut back. I would decide if you would rather just have one glass of wine a night or less often but stay at the two or three glasses. Wine is empty calories and often causes you to eat other junk. Drink lots of water, eat more veges and lean protein.

Twenty years ago, I had an aerobics teacher tell me the you can eat anything after working out and I did not believe him. I would love to see some responses to that but I do not believe it.
