Here's an actual serious response to the question. In my sister in law's case, they apparently only figured out how to plan the 3rd child. #s 1, 2, and 4 were all accidental. 3rd time's the charm?

Oh look, your *****y office mate and mine are twins! We are our own worst enemies, aren't we?

And not just the wedgie at the end, but the pool water enema too.

You look great. I can tell how much more confident and happy you are in your "after" pictures. Job well done!

I just like cake. All of it. It's a problem. ;)

Like anything, it depends on the amount of effort you put into it. I do intervals on my elliptical and really push when I hit the higher resistance level. It's really helped to save my knees and lower legs while still enabling me to run reasonably well when I get outside.

I agree with the others in that you should slow down and start small. I was able to start at a run of 2 min/walk 1 x 8 and work up. The next week was run 3/walk 2 x 5 and so on 4 times/week. Never walking more than 3 minutes in between, but doing that for about 20 minutes total while you work up to the longer runs. It…

I don't buy the stuff. If I don't have it around, I don't crave it. I'm not going to lie and say I'm good 100% of the time because I do cave once in a while, but it's not near as often, and I figure deprivation isn't doing me any favors, either. I will say that once I was able to severely limit the sweets, when I eat…

Great story!! I loved it and YOU look great! Way to go! :)

My first half, coming up in May. :) I've been fighting with interior shin splints for over a year now - SO painful - and I'm trying to prepare for the half by strength training, elliptical and the occasional run (once a week) either outside or on the treadmill.

By the tone of your post, I think you already know the answer. To spell it out, he lied to your face and then tried to deflect the significance of frequenting an online dating site while dating you. I think that says it all.

Is he worried that you're going to be attractive to other men and he doesn't want you working out because now you're starting to feel better about yourself and it shows? I mean, that's the only logical explanation I can come up with for his lazy *kitten*.

I understand because that's me. My problem is that my kids don't sleep, so it's not like I can just do it when they go to bed or get up earlier in the morning because they are ALWAYS UP. Can't get them down before 10 and they're up in the night. I just don't have good sleepers right now, so I'm tired ALL THE TIME. I don't…

Nice work! You look amazing!

Are you sure they are even logging every calorie? That's my problem. But I've finally made a vow to myself that if I don't feel like logging it, or it's too difficult to log, I shouldn't eat it. That usually means the embarrassing little things I snack on here and there that completely ruin my progress.

You look fantastic! Beautiful before, but beautiful and glowingly healthy after! WTG!

I have a habit of eating breakfast on the go, so most often times it's a LUNA, Zone, or Nature Valley peanut butter granola bar and a Spark drink. When I have time, I like to fry an egg (nonstick egg pan, so no butter or spray needed) and slap it on a single piece of lightly buttered whole grain or wheat toast, sprinkled…

You look amazing!! Great job!

Honestly, I think your breathing will naturally improve as your running and fitness level improves--I know it did for me. I wouldn't concentrate or worry too much about the breathing aspect, unless you really feel out of breath, in which case I'd advise you to slow down a bit on the longer intervals. When you go back down…
