Which version of Combat did you get? I bought the Ultimate Warrior version and it has quite a few different workouts so you never really get bored of doing the same ones as they mix things up a lot.
-
I did 1.5 weeks worth but had to stop because I caught a cold - not related to c25k ;0) Plannng to restart week 2 next week after I finish a 60-day home DVD programme I have been doing on Friday and will see it through to the end. I quite enjoyed the running and this is from someone who has never ever been a runner so…

Good job guys! I do find I have periods of weight loss followed by periods of stability and I'm not doing anything drastically different for either. Just goes to show we just got to keep going and let our body take it's natural course.

Shuba: I had a very quick look at your diary and have these observations in addition to what AdviDaddy suggested. I realised when I started using MFP how many carbs/calories there are in our Indian breads: Chappati, Paratha, Poori etc so I've reduced how much of these I eat as well as other Bread. I have not completely…

I'm in my last few days of it and still enjoy it. However I am going to start a Les Mills Pump/Combat hybrid programme for 90 days. Pump is only 3 days a week so I can do Combat the other 3 days.
-
I'm coming to the end of my Les Mills Combat programme which I do at home. Next I will start a hybrid programme of Les Mills Pump & Combat for 90 days. I've also started a C25K programme but stopped at week 2 due to catching a cold so stuck o the Combat programme only. I will restart week 2 next week and then continue…

Having done neither I'd say Body Revolution just to mix things up a bit. You can always do Insantiy again (or Focus T25) afterwards rather than repeating it again immediately.

Lol nope I think Aditi with her 32Kg lost is the champ :)

Greek Yoghurt is my fave - so thick and creamy it feels like it should be a lot more calories than it is. I add some Cinnammon and slivers of Almonds to top it off. Its yummy.

Yay arvichan - you've stepped down from the plateau.

Totally agree with what AdviDaddy says. We are all impatient to get to our weight loss goals but it takes time, our bodys may take a break from time to time and sometimes we might even go backwards. But this is a marathon and not a sprint so hang in there - trust me we all feel this way from time to time. You can do it -…

What about Milk & Greek Yoghurt?
-
I like how you mix things up like that - keeps it interesting I bet and doesn't let your body get used to a routine. Nice.

Welcome pratimaram!

Forgot to post this on Saturday: Name/ real name: chetthaker / Chet Goal (trend) weight on May 30: 162.6 llbs 5/04: 167.2 llbs 5/11: 165.8 llbs 5/18: 165.2 llbs 5/25: 163.9 llbs 5/31:

So it could be that you're maintaining/building lean mass hence why the scales are not moving. Yes its good to stay motivated and keep going despite what the scales say - that's good. Keep up the good work.

Hi Shubha, Welcome. Glad to see you're already figuring out what you need to do. Its best to log your food and exercise every day so you can see what you're actually doing. Since you can't join a gym I'd suggest you continue with your walking - make sure it's a brisk pace and for a good length of time and you'll get a good…

Sounds good. Better to build up slowly than go in too fast and burn out. As you get fitter and stronger you can up the time and intensity.
-
Sutapa: Sounds good although are you sure you need that much oil as I think it would end up becoming higher calorie with that much? might try it out using less oil as it sounds pretty good. Kali - you've moved from the UK to India? Sounds like good ideas. I drink Coconut Water sometimes specifically for the Potassium but…
-
Welcome Kali. Sounds like a great plan you have there. Arvichan: Any plan on what you're going to do to get out of the plateau?
-
In what way? Weight loss?
-
Welcome Sutapa. It is definitely something you can achieve. I felt the same way when I started using this site more fully in November and now I am close to reaching a 30 llb loss. My advice is to slowly make changes to your eating habits, get more active by doing activities/exercise you enjoy, set some realistic goals for…
-
Oh interesting. I'm going to guess you are from Germany or Sweden.
-
@algebravoodoo - You got the Indian ancestery right and I am from UK :-) Well done!!
-
Same for me. My exercise and activity levels vary day-by-day and I too am mostly sedentary the rest of the time so eating back exercise calories works better for me and I'm losing 1-2 llbs per week no having seen things slow down to around 0.5 llbs per week.

I'm going to go for Italian then :-)
