We just got back from a three day trip, I went up 1/2 lb, which is sodium. We did walk a lot, on Saturday it was 16,000 steps. I felt like I ate a lot, but I think I did ok. what I did eat I tried to keep healthy (except the BBQ ribs - they were exceptional and I couldn't resist). I have learned to take healthy snacks with…

Well that doesn't sound good. I'm hanging in for now, but I have also noticed the mobile app isn't as responsive as it used to be. I used sparkpeople before and may go back if MFP continues to deteriorate. They make money on the ads, so if I was to pay for a membership I sure as heck don't want to see the ads!

I don't know if any of you buy Trader Joes chicken sausage - but if you do, there is a massive recall on it. If you have some you might want to contact your local distributor.

great job - you are gorgeous!

Great job! you are a beautfiul young woman

I have had bunion surgery etc, and I have narrow feet except where the bunion surgery was. I buy shoes on line from 6pm.com. I have had real good service from them and I usually wait until stuff goes on sale. Have you tried Kalso brand? I love them. After two knee replacements I have to be real careful with my shoes.…

Sharon - Probably is salt. I react incredibly to restaurant food, the sodium is a killer. You will probably flush it out over the next few days.

I got my steps in 5 out of 7 days this time - yay! stayed in my calorie count all but one day. I didn't loose anything, disappointed in that. Just kind of stuck, so hoping that the increase in steps will start paying off. I'm happy with getting my steps in, after two knee replacements it has been a long slow process :)

I've been stuck for several months now - hate it, but I consider my age, my lack of mobility etc... and as long as I am not gaining I'm ok. I hit a plateau before and just had to ride it out for a couple of months and dropped some more weight. I've switched up my diet some this week, so hopefully that will jump start me…

A great job and a beautiful family. congratulations

I have been hit and miss with getting all my steps in so far this month. Only 3 out of 7 days have I achieved my goal. DRATS. But I haven't put any lbs on, also haven't lost any. I really need to refocus

how did everyone fare over Easter? Most of our family was away for Easter, so no big dinner to cook - which saved me a lot of calories. Scale stayed the same, neither up or down, which i will consider a win!

Great start to the chat! I LOVE salt and have always craved it. I started using Ms. Dash instead of some salt, and it has great different flavors. I love the SouthWest and there is Lemon Pepper etc.. I can cut back some of my salt and still get the good flavor.

I use a mobile app called "Pacer". It is free and uploads your steps with calories burned to MFP. I compared it to another step tracker and it was quite accurate.

I'm in! 1) walk twice a day, a minimum of 6,000 steps 2) lower my carb intake 3) stick to my 1200 calories a day 4) not kill anyone I work with :)
-
thats not a good way to loose weight - probably when you feel better you will put a couple back on. Hope you feel well soon. I have lost another .5 lbs this week, happy with that, because it has been one high stress week! Stress = eat for me. Hope ya'll have a good week

Feeling good about yourself is so important, it will help you balance your life, in good times and bad. I'm so sorry you experienced the losses that you have, I also had several and it is devastating. BUT - I managed to keep trying and had two other healthy children, so don't give up, enjoy your life and cherish what you…

Congrats - that is great. We were in Vegas and I put on some weight, but happy to say down 1.5 lbs over anad above what I put on during vacation. I think I just needed an attitude adjustment.

you are beautiful - keep up the great work

Back from Vegas! 7 days of eating restaurant foods, even being careful I put on weight. of course I expected a couple of lbs, but when i got home after 6 hours of flying, my legs looked like tree trunks. I put on 8 lbs when I got home, but by this a.m. had dropped 3 already. pushing the water water and more water. Had a…

I won't be checking in for a week - heading out to Vegas for the nascar race and other fun things. for this week I have lost a lb, but I dont' know if it will stay off. We usually do ALOT of walking when we are out there, not unusual to get 14 - 15,000 steps. I just have to be careful not to eat my way through Vegas. Ya'll…
