1725 kcal Daily Calorie Intake 75 g Carbohydrates (17%) 75 g Protein (17%) 125 g Fat (66%) Where do I find this script mentioned above?

This was me, extreme. All due to menorrhagia from severe fibroid tumours. I would often go through 5 pounds of ice a day. A hysterectomy and a LCHF diet, along with iron and copper supplements, had that gone in 6 months.

Happy people don't try to purposefully hurt other people. I stay out of the main forums, even tho I had a good post sharing my medical stats from low-carbing.

I'll be so happy to see my collar bones again. Still have 100 pounds to go. I found an old photo of mt HS grad party. Its hard to believe I was that thin over half my life! Now, I use that photo to remind me. Cheers to everyone and I hope to join you soon :)

I lifted in my teens and 20s, and I am just starting to get back into it now.

Shoulders down, shoulders back, head high. You've worked hard, and your brain hasn't quite caught up with your weight loss. Like the rest of the posters are saying, even if you have to fake it, project confidence and eventually you will BE confident!
-
Wait. Too much re-sizing may ruin it.
-
wow! You look amazing and healthy!

I "put on my eyebrows" before I go out. I have blonde, nearly invisible eyebrows and eyelashes, and I need to find a new salon for tinting. Otherwise, I only wear it if we are going someplace special, like we were in my photo.

If you, together, decide that it is worth it, it is. Make sure you know how to communicate, that you have made tentative long term contingency plans and know where you both stand on child raising and money.

Last night. I permitted myself to eat whatever I want. I had about a dozen mini cream puffs, blueberry pie, and chocolate cake.

^ This! 90 grams works well for me.

A couple people have asked where I get my carbs from. Here is a typical day: 1 Tbs sunflower seeds 2/3 cup raw baby spinach 1 1/3 cup mixed baby greens 1-2 oz each celery, carrot, radish, snow pea, cucumber 30 g blueberries or grape tomatoes 1 container greek yogurt 1 oz almonds or natural peanut butter 1-2 oz dark…

Thank you. I usually eat blueberries instead of strawberries. Most of my carbs come from either dairy or berries/veggies.

MUCH better, had mine for 4 years now, can't sleep without it. I had to take sleeping pills the first couple nights, but I got used to it quickly.

Day 78 for me. 1800 calories, (90 carb, 120 fat, 90 prot). 22 pounds down so far, labs improved across the board. Less insulin and metformin needed.

I'm a geek too! I MUD, play D&D, Civ, etc, work as an IT Systems analyst, and I'm getting back in shape! However, I have poodles. Is that a deal breaker?

French fries, or potatoes in general.

Your English is just fine! Min danske sprog skill er ikke så godt!

My 60% fat diet seems to have helped me lose 58 pounds, improve my labs across the board and helped me get rid of my really strong sweet tooth.

Hi, 44, T2D, 58 pounds down, just under 80 to go. Feel free to add me; I log in every day

^Agree with this. I had to work to retrain myself. Now, I only eat if my tummy is growling and my blood sugar is low. Figuring out the whys and whens of me emotional eating was the hard part.

My usual snacks: 1 oz raspberries, blackberries or blueberries. 1 oz cheese. 1 oz salami. 15 medium olives. 1 oz almonds, pecans or walnuts. If I need a heavy snack, yogurt or cottage cheese, a slice of low carb bread with a Tbl of natural peanut butter. But not all at the same time or in the same day!
-
Nuts. Mostly almonds. I would eat almost a pound a day. Also raspberries, cherries, California style dried apricots.

Agree with the others: remove the trigger food! I still have some sugar. My flavored creamer in the morning and my 2 pieces of Dove dark chocolate after dinner. It took a couple weeks but the cravings stopped. For me, giving up the sugar was harder than giving up cigarettes. ndj1979, I've restricted my carbs to 90g a day,…

Hi Loopy! I didn't join here until I had less than 100 (99!) to lose. We can all do it :flowerforyou: I didn't take it seriously until January, when my doctor came in to her office followed by a nurse with a vial of insulin and a syringe. I'm with you, it is NOT a diet; it's a lifestyle change. Anyone feel free to go…

The short answer is Yes. I am morbidly obese at 236 pounds and 5' 9" (175cm). I was even more so at 288 pounds. My BMR itself has gone down with my weight loss. Less blood volume to move, heart works less hard to move it, etc.

"To think that if you eat 500 fewer calories the body will give up 500 calories of fat, to make up the difference, is the ultimate naivety in the world of dieting. The body is not a cash machine for fat. Think about it – you lose your job – you don’t automatically dip into savings – you cut back on expenditure and the body…

Sugar is sugar whether is comes from fruit or sugar cane/beets. If you are too high on your carbs, start cutting back on some of your fruit and your flour products. You might also want to try fruits that are naturally lower in sugar. My carbs are set to 90 grams, I rarely go over and I eat fruit every day.
