Crock pots are your friend!! That being said....I use mine for meat often....you can cook a whole chicken, a pork roast, beef roast! :)

We buy a locally raised (grass fed) cow every year..I successfully lost 96 pounds last year while still eating red meat...I like it, and have no plans to stop eating it! YUM!!!

I love(but can't find them anymore) UTZ brand baked tortilla chips with really almost any salsa...I think 14 chipds was 120 cals!

My suggestion would be to back down on the sugar, and add more veggies...

I hope your not using MFP's numbers for your cals burn..they are only estimates, and imy case when I was heavier, they OVER estimated by a LOT...Its really a good idea to buy a Heart Rate Monitor...that wil be your closest to being correct.

I jumped in feet first....counting cals and exercising... I lost the first 90 pounds in 6 months, then lost 6 more pounds in the next month and half after a back injury..I've been maintaining since late aug 2011...I started here March 2011 :) Good luck to you!!

Anything that hits the floor in my house tends to be fair game...My dogs do like nuts though, too!! We have an American Bulldog, a Boxer, and a Pitbull :)

I lost 96 pounds last year(currently miantaing since late aug of 2011) and only ate back execise cals if really still hungry. My body took what it needed, and shed the weight it didn't need, and why eat if your not hungry??

The 160 pounds for a female is healthy according to the BMI charts at that height(if you go by those charts), but at 160 and 5'9 I still had fat to lose.
