If you are maintaining.....
I've been on maintainance for a few weeks now. I think overall Im doing pretty well. I am never close to using all mycalories because I still work out 6x a week. My daily food cals are 1850 and I usually burn in the 400ish range (on average). I try not to care what is leftover at the end of the night. Do you have a lot of…

Anyone else...???
It donned on me just a few mins ago, that the less I weigh, the more hungry I am! Probably doesn't make sense, but its the truth. When I was losing weight, I never really ate back my exercise calories. Now that Im 90+ pound less and maintaining, I am always hungry. If it weren't for the fact I get 1850 a day w/o exercise,…

90 pounds lost...pics on profile!
I just wanted to share my journey. I joined MFP March 13th, 2011...weighing in at 246.2l. My son's were 4 yr old, almost 2 and almost 1. I decided that if I ever plan to see them grow up, I gotta get my butt in gear and lose some weight. I've yo yo dieted all my adult life, never being able to maintain any loss long term.…

Skin Skin Skin.....
Okay so as many of you have seen, I was forced into maintaining right now due to back issues. I did hit another goal of 90 pounds loss. Now for the problem! Being that Im not aloud to even really walk right now, I have some serious hanging skin and my body image is worse than it was 90 pounds ago. Of course hubby says he…

New to Maintaining
Okay as easy as it sounds, it has me a bit scared. Ive just lost 90 pounds at and this point am VERY limited on exericse due to a back injury. So right now exercise is NILL. So here I sit with over 1800 cals a day that Im "aloud" to eat. For almost 6 months, Ive been eating 1500 and less (mostly less). What do you guys…

It's all in the numbers........
Okay...so at what weight do you feel most comfortable in your own skin? The reason I ask is this is because I've changed my goal weight nunerious times. Everytime I get soo close or to my goal, I decide to lower it yet again. I plan on stopping this pattern. I've gone from 246.2 (march 2011) to 159.6(today). My last goal…

Body Image
Am I thie only one who walks by a full length mirror (in the store of course, I don't own one yet) and execpts to see that obese person looking back? Being I"ve been "chunky, fat, etc" most of my life, I don't really know anything else. On one hand I think I've done a great job, and yes Im proud, but on the other hand I…

Whoop.......I did it!! 84.1 pounds and goal! :)
Let me first start out by saying this....If I can do this, anyone can! (barring any medical conditions you may have that would prevent weight loss). It took me until my youngest was 11 months old to realize that I am not still fat because I had a baby! I am fat, because I choose to eat unhealthy foods and not exercise.…

I FINALLY set my GOAL weight
This may sound trivial to some. As I"ve gone along on this journey my goals have changed often. Not that its a bad thing, I am just a concrete person and like to have things set in stone. So after losing 70+ pounds, looking at myself in the mirror, seeing reactions from others, and looking at the BMI charts. I feel that at…

I am very happy with the results so far. I guess i"m just wondering when is a good "stopping point"? Hubs says Im getting too…

The UNsecret to my success thus far!
So 120 days ago I weighed 246.2. (Im only 5'9) Not a healthy combination. Today I am 179.3! I'm 4.3 pounds awaya from my goal. Needless to say, I am very proud of how far I've come. 3 months and 11 days later.................
I am down 60.4 pounds! There are NO secrets to this! Its a lifestyle change, mindset, and exercise routine :) I am a mom of 3 little boys, so time to work out is precious! I get the best burn possible in the time alloted. I work out 6x a week, don't have "cheat days", if it doesn't fit into my calories, I don't eat it. I…

NSV!!

Yeah for me-- NSV and SV
I have been using MFP since March 13th of this year. This is the best success I"ve had my entire life. It HAS to be a lifestyle change that you can live with, not a "diet". Sooo.... My NSV is: I bought a cute pair of linen pants that roll up to capri's from Old Navy less then 2 months ago. It's a size 16...well, I wore…

How many "logged" calories do you burn a day?
I was just curious to see what others have to say. I try to burn 500 "logged" calories a day. This is usually done on a treadmill. I don't know why 500 sticks with me so much, but that has been my goal for quite some time. Being that I have 3 kids ages 4 and under, I don't have time to just lay around the rest of the day.…
