Okay...so at what weight do you feel most comfortable in your own skin? The reason I ask is this is because I've changed my goal weight nunerious times. Everytime I get soo close or to my goal, I decide to lower it yet again. I plan on stopping this pattern. I've gone from 246.2 (march 2011) to 159.6(today). My last goal revision is 159.0 Im 5ft 9inches tall.

Have you looked at the BMI - I don't love it but at least you'l know when to stop? I set smaller goals, not really knowing my end goal tbh, that way I stay motivated - but therefore I automatically set a new goal

I've looked at the BMI chart, the waist to hip ratio chart, and a weight chart in general.

After looking at all of them, I decided I wanted to choose a weight where I am comfortable and can easily maintain it. For me, that is 143-145lbs. I am 5'4" so that weight is really considered on the "heavy" end of my weight range. But, I am happy with it. I am easily maintaining it and that is important to me too. I really like what I see in the mirror now - and THAT is more important to me than anything else. :)

I'm your height, and currently 150-153 (fluctuates daily). But I felt most comfortable at 135-140 lookswise so that's what I'm aiming for.

As a previous successful loser (weight wise) I know how scary it is to be approaching your goal. You have spent long hard weeks concentrating on LOSING so the prospect of not losing anymore is like letting go of a comforting blanket or teddy bear. What you need to remember is that you were gaining just 5 months ago, you learned new habits and successfully followed your plan to get to where you are now - you will be able to learn new habits and begin the real battle - maintaining. Losing was the easy bit (in the long run that is!!). What you now face is a life-long change. You can do it - you have proved to yourself that you can change already in March this year. You can now change again. If you can stop focussing on losing, you will find that your body settles into a natural weight bracket. You may find that you naturally lose a little more anyway. The hard bit is keeping yourself in check, every day. Not on the scale necessarily, but in eating sensible healthy foods and exercising!! You look fabulous - healthy and slim, so well done for all you have achieved!! Good luck with your continued body management!! xx :flowerforyou:
