Okay, where does everyone get their batteries for their HRMs' I have a Polar FT4, and live in a rural town. There are NO dealers near us. Thanks for your help!

If you can't buy it locally I'd check out Amazon.com.0

Is it the battery in the watch or in the transmitter?
In my Polar RS200 I've just gotten the battery for the transmitter from whatever store carried the type of battery (took out the old one and brought it with me for comparison).
In the watch itself I've had the battery changed by the local watchmaker/jeweler.0 -
My understanding is that you can replace the batteries in the FT4 yourself. Open it up, find what kind of battery it uses and buy a replacement. They usually take a pretty standard watch battery.
I ended up taking mine (not a Polar) to a watch repair store in the mall. The screws are so small I can't find a screw driver small enough to remove them. It cost me $10 to replace a battery I can buy for a couple of bucks, but it was still worth it.0 -
I want to change both, so they were done at the same time...didn't think about a local jeweler thanks..Ill be looking online too.0

Check the polar site...I believe you can mail it in for them to change out. I know with certain Polar HRM's the batteries need to be changed by a dealer. I have the FT7 and was able to change the battery myself and grabbed it at my local Walgreen's.0
