Thank you all for the responses. I haven't begun to use the Youtube videos for some exercise options. I am being quite diligent on the calorie counting and trying to weigh all my food for accuracy. I am able to take off the flexible cast and weigh myself now, that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion on sedentary, i updated my goals to reflect that. Eating more vegs and filling foods will be my focus. I think I will need to do this for about 3 months until I can get back to running. Thanks for the help

I have been at GW for about 6 weeks, having lost 76 pounds. It is still hard to view myself as thinner than before, even when I see pictures I still view myself as heavy. I am working on it, but I have a feeling it will take time to adjust to the fact that I am not heavy.

Congratulations! Personally I would target the longer distance and faster times. Those goals will help you lose additional weight. I set my weight goals in 25 pound increments, I could celebrate by going to the store and lifting a bag of something that weighed that much to realize how much I had lost. I ran my first half…

Most days I workout at 5:30am so there is not an impact to my personal events. However, on Tuesday evenings and Saturday Morning, i set aside time to run with a local training team. My health is more important to me right now than taking time for dinner or coffee on these days.
