This is going to sound weird, but please don't stop. You are undoubtedly going to achieve what you want. You deserve to. You are worth every step, ache, frustration, and success. I don't know you, but I am so proud of you. Legitimately. Dust off your sneakers, shift this frustration you're feeling into stubborn motivation,…

Hell yes for muscles and strong bodies! You're all awesome.

It's always encouraging to hear from a person who feels happier and healthier with themselves. Good job, you! And thanks for the reminder. Little progress adds up.

Best: I am resilient. Worst: Connectionaphobe

Let me just say how sorry I am that your life has been full of such pain and hate. As beautifully loving as humans can be, they can equally be cud spewing. That video was made by a terrible person. Bottom line. She may have conventional beauty (according to some), but she's absolutely filth inside.

I tried something new and did a few sets of a total body kettle ball workout. I drank TONS of water today. I looked in the mirror and didn't dislike what I saw.

Recognition at the doctor's office: major win! Good job!

It's hard. It's more emotionally challenging than physically (usually). It seems like it will never end, never happen. I get it. You never stop. You may pause, but never stop searching, trying, pushing.

No to vodka. It was actually a tough call.

My greatest achievements are the ones that happen inside, first and foremost. Most recent NSV? I let myself eat everything I wanted for 24 hours. I decided I wanted to enjoy my mini vaca and gave myself permission to do eat. I ate very nutrient dense foods and some, not so much. The victory you ask? Well, after my day of…

Who's the guy in the second picture? Oh, that's you? Major difference. You're kicking *kitten* and tummy. Good job.

This ^infinity. You're damn incredible!

The crappy part about a healthy lifestyle is that it takes time and we always think the change should come sooner. I've spent a month working out 5-7 times a week, eating very well 85% of the time and yet, I've only lost a pound. But my body has changed! Pictures show me this, the scale does not, but is finally beginning…

Maybe I'm not accessing it correctly? When I go to his profile it says his feed is private and there is only a "block" icon available.

No, it's not.

Really good ones here. I especially like being thankful for your body and speaking to it. I bet and am guilty of having motivated myself with a bit of negative reinforcement. So, I'm curious to how this kind of thinking might encourage and fuel not only a better workout, but better body appreciation.

Six weeks?!? Six? You're obviously determined. You look lovely.

That's the one single time I've ever attempted red lips. And trust me, you can too! Relationship status: on.

Go back to school, pay off debt, buy a home, spoil my daughter and boyfriend. And definitely, get a set of gummies. What mantra inspires you?

He always looked like he had farted.

He mean mugged my parents.

And, the rightful winner you are! Wow. Those guns of yours are my motivation for tonight's workout. I hate doing arms, but yours are stellar and inspiring. I'm glad you came to see your body is a temple. It truly is. Good on you.

Also, while you're trying to help, but taking control of his food situation, you are taking the last thing he likely feels control over. How has he responded to this?

Recovered bulimic of twelve years. I recovered when I took the steps and built the confidence to feel A )control over my life and B ) worthy of being nourished. Counseling and a lot of it will hopefully help him with that. I would highly recommend you cutting way back on your food. Cut the cookies and junk food,…

Papadon you're a boss of a man! What a difference. What a commitment you're making. I second your wife, proud of you.

Thank you all for your feedback. I don't usually value the scale as the end all, be all, but in being honest I've been confused about it. I definitely think a food scale will help clarify some of it. I honestly just made up losing ten pounds as something to work towards and to motivate me to workout. I don't have any true…

Is it possible for you to get a weekend job to buy your own extra food? Unless you can talk to your parents, since talking to your brother isn't helping. Super frustrating. Explain to your parents you're trying to make healthy changes and ask if they could help you manage the situation. If not, I guess the only option is…

This is incredible advice! We are all susceptible to feelings of shame and disappointment when looking at the facts. It's hard to not personalize those thoughts when they are directly related to your body, to you. I've been struggling with similar thoughts, but am trying to look at it from a logical point of view (I'm a…
