Hard to believe you're a sports and nutrition major when you're going around spreading broscience like that.

I decided one day to get up and stop being fat. Lost 140 pounds in a year. True story.

You may need to readjust your calorie intake. Maintenance drops as you lose weight so you cant stay on the same deficit forever.
-
Great job. Now grow another badass goatee, start lifting weights and acquiring aesthetics. Girls will follow.
-
Are you sure you've calculated that correctly? My exact maintaince calories are 2588, and I'm 6'3/205 pounds.
-
Nope. Sugar=Carbohydrate Carbohydrate=Energy I don't eat a lot of sugar to begin with, but imho, if it's consumed pre-workout then I have absolutely no problem with it.
-
PRO TIP: Don't look at them. Problem solved.
-
Yep. Morrow, GA checking in.
-
But what you are also neglecting is the fact that the body will break down muscle for energy before it does fat. Eating enough calories to stay at a reasonable deficit combined with an adequate protein intake that accounts for 1g-1.5g per pound of LBM ensures that muscle breakdown is at its lowest when losing weight. You're fine, but don't get me wrong you'll gain. It'll take a few days however for your weight to return to normal.

Unless you're at the same weight for two months consecutively or longer then it isn't a plateau. Eating more carbs ups your glycogen storage which also packs in water weight. Depletion of glycogen stores also lead to hunger. /thread.

no...foreveralone.jpg Actually, I have found a girlfriend after my weight loss journey, feels good man.

The sugar in milk (which is called Lactose btw) is all-natural and since sugar is a carbohydrate, it'll just be broken down into energy that you can use. In the end I wouldn't sweat it.

I weigh myself on Friday mornings. Seems like the most logical day to do so since everyone likes to get in some cheat meals during the weekend, and there is never enough time to recover from that before Monday morning.
-
Two scoops of Six Star whey protein + from Walmart and two cups of Skim milk. BAM! 560 calories. Other than that, what gemiwing said. Since you're trying to gain weight, an easy and good way to up your calories is to drink your remaining calories in milk (preferrably skim or 1%)

Is 1200 your net? If not, then you've been doing it wrong. Edit: To keep from doing anymore damage to yourself in the long run, I suggest to just drop the diet altogether immediately. Losing weight as fast as the diet suggest will do nothing but make you skinny-fat.
-
Step 1: Stop fad dieting. Step 2: Stop eating at starvation level but continue at a 300-500 calorie deficit (CLEAN eating) Step 3: Start lifting weights Step 4: SUCCESS. Seriously, I grow tired of people that worship these quick weight loss diets, when all they are doing is burning majority lean body mass in the end…

Turkey Bacon is alright...but lets get some whole grains in there.
