Back again myself after 8 months of illness and another 35lb on :# , 8 weeks post surgery so looking forward to getting back in control of my weight and my fitness - good luck with your weight loss journey :-)

That sound like a great idea I will definitely put smaller achievable goals so I feel I am progressing as apposed to lose 90Lb :-)

Thank you very much - the task seems so huge at this point do you break it down into smaller goals or just go for the big 90lb loss goal however log it may take to get there?

from my experience when my elliptical says 1000 calories my iwatch says around 550 active calories so almost half and I always go on the apple watch and not the machine as I think this is closer to the truth :smiley:

I am currently at 232 Long Term Goal 168 so that is 64Lb to lose. I have done it before and I will do it again :) :)

A large glass of Chablis in the evening with dinner - that is my treat and i would not want to give that up :D

So the first 5lb of the weight off last week, tracking honestly and exercising this week will hopefully help another 2 - 3lbs then I just need to stick with it :-) - thank you all

Thank you - it is the logging that keeps me honest as soon as I stop that I start to overeat so definitly need to get back to logging every day :)

I bank all my exercise and some of my food calories for the weekend where I will have a treat meal on Saturday and a couple of glasses of wine Saturday and Sunday - seems to be working out ok so far :)

Congratulations on making that decision, I am an elliptical fan too (as I have one at home), I started a week ago with 65Lb to lose so very similar, good luck in your weight loss journey :smile:

Thank you all so much the reason I put lightly active as I watched a program that said you can undo all the good of a workout if you then do nothing else all day, I do a dog walk but then as I say sit for most of the time. this weekend will be my first eating back some calories since starting so I will work this way for…

Thank you all very much for the advice, my exercise level is set to lightly active as I do two blocks of exercise a day then sit on my backside for most of the day at my desk :smile:

sorry just one more question, I have always been led to believe that if you are under your daily goal you can plateau, is this the case if my weekly calorie intake is correct even if for 5 days out of 7 I am a little under and don't eat back any of my exercise calories until the weekend - really need this to work this time…

I have just found the data on the app which shows me Calories under weekly goal which includes my high exercise so if I halve this i should be ok to have a few treats at the weekend :smiley: - thank you all so much

I have just ordered one today - as I bought chicken in from home and forgot to weigh it so keeping it in my bag so I can calculate on the run :smiley:
