  • I don't plan to stop. I am just frustrated. As for the fats unfortunately, I am allergic to nuts, so that as a source is out. I try to use olive oil as my fat most days when I eat a salad. I will occasionally eat an egg, but I don't really care for eggs. I might make a piece of French toast with an egg and some whole grain…
  • My frustration isn't so much that I lost 4 pounds in January, it is that I actually started this in November, gained a few pounds at Christmas and am now right back where I started after struggling through P90x for a total of 9 weeks, on top of all the extra cardio. What is making it even worse it that I am doing this with…
  • I opened my diary. No junk food, pop. etc. I haven't had so much as a cookie since Christmas. The only things I drink are unsweetened tea and water. I guess the frustrating thing is I am back to where I started and now the scale doesn't want to budge. I am eating protein, whole grains, fruits, veggies, and fat free dairy.…
  • I did try eating more calories in the first round. I was eating around 1800 per day and when I did that I started gaining. That is why I went back to 1200. I eat some of them back...just not all. I can't do my workouts until around 6 in the evening, so once I enter what I burned, I'd have to eat a ton of food before I went…
  • I always make sure the entries are correct. I always compare the labels to the entries. I never eat back all my workout calories, so burn shouldn't make much of a difference either. I would be happy with looking different too, but neither has changed...pics or weight.
  • I agree with the fruit and veggie recommendation. It looks like most of your meals consist of carbs, meat and cheese. I think I saw 1 apple one day. There are ways to sneak veggies in there. Throw some baby spinach in your sandwiches or with your eggs. Chop up some fresh fruit in your yogurt, eat a big salad. I know my…
  • I've got a whole chicken in the oven, sweet potatoes, a salad and some broccoli.
  • I usually make it with fruit, but if I don't want sweet, it is good with fresh dill.
  • It's amazing to me the lack of empathy on some of these posts. "Just don't eat it" or "Get some willpower". Not everyone can do that. If it was that simple, everyone would be thin. I don't see barring things from the house, but what would it hurt him to keep them hidden somewhere or not show her the food. Luckily, my…
  • I did Supreme 90 a couple years ago and am doing P90X now. I actually found Supreme 90 more challenging overall, but I like certain aspects of both. I love Kenpo in P90X but find I can only do about half of the Plyometrics. I can't do pull ups at all, so I have to use the bands. I also do not have time to do ab ripper on…
  • While I know that this isn't a healthy way to eat, I did that diet many years ago and it worked really well for me. It is a good jump start to get you going into something more healthy. I need that initial big weight loss to get me motivated. When I did it, I squeezed lemon juice over my salads and fried the vegetables in…
  • I live about 35 miles out of Pittsburgh, work in Mt. Oliver
  • I am currently a U.S 18. In college, I went as low as a size 5, but I looked like a skeleton. That way too small for my height (5'8"). I always looked best in a 9/10, but I am much older now and a more realistic goal would be a 12. (Though I can shoot for the 9/10).
  • I'm not a big breakfast fan either. I'm just not really hungry when I wake up, but I find that if I don't eat a decent breakfast, then I have trouble getting all my calories during the day, so I make myself. I have to cook for the kids before they go to school, so I just make myself something to eat with them. Today, I…
  • I am having trouble eating enough too, and I am only supposed to eat 1200 calories. I never thought that would be a problem, but when I write everything down, I am below, and I measure EVERYTHING. I have had to eat protein bars to even get close some days. I think my problem is I tend to be a night eater and not so much an…
  • I plan to record everything because I want to see how many more active minutes I can get. I will log if I play an active WII game or if I shovel snow, but I don't plan to eat back all the calories burned. I may eat back calories burned from actual workouts such as my P90X, but I am waiting to see what works best for me. I…
  • I am not a beach body coach and I am doing P90X right now. I am about 60 pounds overweight, in terrible shape and will turn 50 in a few weeks, but I can still do it. There are only 3 of the DVD's I can do all the way to the end right now, but I get further in each DVD every time. I can't do all the exercises, so I sub in…
  • I really didn't plan to count it. We were walking really slow because my daughter just got a boot off her foot from a high ankle sprain. The forms had to be turned in that day and we hadn't reached our goal yet, so we had to get out there and sell. Now the REAL problem will be to not EAT all the cookies when they are piled…
  • My main goal is to lose 64 pounds. SInce it is a large amount, I don't really have an exact time frame, just as soon as I can. Since I am that much overweight, I hope to lose at least 2 pounds a week at first, then 1 a week after I get going. I find that if I don't lose a large amount at first, I get discouraged, but once…
  • I want to lose at least 60...
  • I wish I lost inches or ANYTHING, but I actually gained 3 pounds and my husband lost 5...talk about frustrating. I am not so obsessed by the weight, but I thought maybe my clothes would be looser....no go. I will wait until the end to judge. I just know that cardio always seems to work better for me that this type of…
  • I also have a major amount to lose. Minimum of 60 pounds but would prefer 70. I take some steroid based meds for asthma that hinder weight loss not to mention getting older which also seems to make it harder. I turn 50 this year and my goal is to be the fittest I have been since college. I want to be able to be that person…
  • I just joined this site. Looking to lose 60 pounds so anyone can add me if they'd like. I'd love to both give and receive motivation!
