That makes no sense to me. Exercise, especially the hiking, IS my lifestyle. I live in the mountains of Montana, not a city, working at a desk all day long.

Eat like a diabetic.....high protein, low carb diet. I have to because I'm diabetic. :-)

Why would it be assumed that MFP and exercise machines OVER estimate the number of calories you burned? Is there a link you can post for a study showing that? An article from a fitness mag or website?
