Exercise - Where to set my Activity Level

This part is still pretty confusing, based upon the explanations given by the app, even after having used it for almost a year now.

Here is what I do......someone tell me where I should have it set, please? :-)

I use the elliptical for 30 mins 5-6 days a week and I work up a fair sweat by starting out at a 1-2 level and going up to 7. I rarely go under 1200 revolutions.

I lift weights, both upper n lower body, every other day for anywhere from 15-30 minutes.

I hike with my Husband on weekends anywhere from 2-4 miles.

Thanx!

somebody who knows more might have a better answer to this but I thought your activity level does not include your exercise?

i thought it was ment to be how active you are BEFORE working out, and then you add your exercise on top ?

correct. It's not for exercise. It's too compensate the user for non exercise activities, such as having an active job or lifestyle

That makes no sense to me. Exercise, especially the hiking, IS my lifestyle. I live in the mountains of Montana, not a city, working at a desk all day long.
