You can totally do it!! Way to go!! What wonderful progress!!!!

Congratulations on your loss!!! Its funny, the "you look taller" comment. As I lost weight, I didn't feel skinnier, I felt *taller*. And since I'm only 5'4", I'll take what I can get :D Keep up the great work!!!

I'd be utterly furious if my spouse spoke to me like that. Support is a vital component of success, and he's supposed to be your ally in life! I consider myself lucky. I've lost weight with other partners before and men are usually SO awkward about how to address the weight loss without implying/admitting that I am or was…

protein offers your body the materials it needs to repair itself. An overage in protein will only impact you if you have kidney or liver issues (one or the other, can't remember which), and thats only if you're constantly eating high protein. Bottom line is Protein is GOOD FOR YOU. It will not impact your weight loss as…

I lost 50 lbs between January 10-July 17 of this year. That is 189 days. Today to December 25th is 154. you might not make 50, or you might, but if you don't try, you'll never even come close :D

Couldn't agree more with this!! Ketosis is what "cured" me of the cravings. Since then I've incorporated a few more carbs (want to stay under 60, but haven't been managing that lately with all the awesome fruit available locally!), but I still don't crave carbs or sugar. The secret is: you have to find what works for your…

Here's my latest before and after. I still have trouble seeing the difference, but MAN do I ever FEEL the difference!!! At 5'4" I had about 90 lbs to lose and I'm halfway there!! Left image stats: Date: December 25th 2011 234.5lbs XL tops 16+ bottoms (really really stretched out 16's) Right image stats Date: June 30th 2012…

You are truly beautiful. :) And such an inspiration!!

Oh how I feel your pain... Currently sitting in a province away from our home, he's in training, so I decided to go back to school (mostly to be with him, and kill the time of his year long training - cause you know, POSTING someone to where they'll be for A YEAR is just a ludicrous idea!)... and in the meantime, watching…

To go low carb for a short term period doesn't make any sense. Personally, I'm living low carb (60g/day), and it's helping me learn to respect the almighty macro balance, something that Weight Watchers didn't teach me, once upon a time. It's also shown me that eating high carb for every meal (I am a pescetarian, so before…

I never wanted to get pregnant and have my own child that way, but I was open to the idea of adoption. But my spouse is 10 years older than me and we quickly decided that there were loads of other stuff that we'd rather be doing than raising children. As soon as we came to that decision, we started being vocal with it…

I adore that picture! I plan on running my first mud run in August. Good for you, instilling good habits in her while she's young :)

Its a bit too big, so it cuts off the final result. But wow!! look at you!!

I kind of think bikinis are gross. Women get all uppity about men letting it all hang out, yet they're walking around in less than their underwear? Ugh. Granted, I like looking at women, most of us have beautiful bodies, regardless of our shape or size. Maybe I'm old-school in that I like to leave a little to the…

I would recommend not trusting MFP to give you proper numbers. The calories they offer are too low, and the exercise calories are calculated too high. I highly recommend doing some research into BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) and TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). You will not find success or lasting results if you aren't…

Wow!! I think that dress was MADE for you! you look adorable!! I think bikini time is already here, no? :)

Please let me indulge myself by telling this little story about me in a bathing suit... I went to Thailand over Christmas of 2009. At that point I was back up to my highest weight (at that time. Sadly, I got heavier), just under 200lbs. I **** you not I shopped for TWO HOURS trying to find a bathing suit that I didn't look…

That's awesome!!! Congrats!

This is perfection. Thank you for sharing your story.

The number of friends and family members who have lost weight and then told me they felt MORE self conscious as a thin person is astounding. Even with my moderate losses I have found the same. The feeling of being judged is often more harsh than the reality.
-
Wow!! you should be so proud!! Keep up the hard work!!

That's great!! Keep up the hard work!!

Please don't be jealous!!!! White dudes calves are usually too thin unless they DO something about it! Love your body :)
